They put meat in my bowl - Edit
The portions are generous and there are many toppings. The main con for me is that they put real beef instead of vegan beef. Double check when you tell them.
Read moreTheir vegan options of vegan beef and mushroom schwarma sound similar to the meat options of actual beef and chicken schwarma. I think the worker misheard me and that caused the mistake.
Maybe they should rename the vegan options to make them distinct or train staff to listen very closely. It seems like this mistake is easy to make if they aren’t listening carefully.
Double check and clarify that your order is vegan when ordering food here.

Bowl is good, skip the salad - Edit
The first time here I got the salad option at this “build your own” Mediterranean restaurant. It was quite expensive so to “get my money’s worth” I got hummus and falafel and mushroom schwarma and plenty of toppings and tahini dressing. It was a mistake, my salad was way too oily and messy to eat.
Read moreI came back again and this time got a bowl with couscous, kale, garbanzos, falafel, vegan “beef”, and a few other toppings. No hummus this time. And it was very good! It came with a pita, which was good, and everything was great.

Generous portions, low prices, I got a bowl hubby got a wrap, we liked all the topping options and different humus options. They had 3 vegan proteins - mushroom, vegan beef and falafel. vegan sauce options!

Fine wraps, but not great - Edit
Biggest pro about this place is the clear vegan labelling, as well as having the most vegan options in IV. That’s basically it. It’s fine to grab for lunch, but my Hummus Republic wraps so far have just not been great. They fall apart immediately, and are quite dry. The vegan beef is alright, I don’t mind it, but the falafel is soft and not at all crunchy or fresh. The workers are nice, and I like the sweet potato fries, but I don’t see myself being a regular.
