Very solid vegan options! - Edit
I really like Hugo’s. They have tons of vegan options- tacos, burritos , all sorts. All real menu items not just awkward swaps. They are always quick, friendly and not pricey.
Read moreIf you’re local and need your hit of tacos, it’s a great spot. You sit outside, (no alcohol options sadly) have your tacos and are on your way - Just your local taco shack that happens to be very vegan friendly.
I don’t really understand any criticisms on some reviews , it’s a large vegan menu and there is nowhere else like this for maybe 20-30 mins in any direction. Locals are lucky to have.

So many vegan options for tacos and burritos. The mushroom carnitas are a stand out ❤️ prices are also extremely reasonable. Will definitely be back!

Hugo’s is a great spot for when you want vegan food on the go. It’s not the best Mexican food in LA, but it’s yummy and it gets the job done.

I got the vegan torta with potatoes! It was totally delicious and hit the spot!! Take note they use honey chipotle on the outside but you can ask for no honey!! It was sooo delicious! I felt the bread got a little wet towards the end and it all started falling but sooooo yummy!

I was amazed to see how much of the menu was either vegan or could be veganized. Everything was clearly labelled. I got a potato taco and churros, which were both tasty. I will definitely be back to try to other dishes.

I like this location. It's right off of the highway and their bright sign made it easy to find at night.

The crispy shells were fresh, flavorful & crisp. The soy chorizo didn't seem very flavorful, in my opinion. I got the salsa habanero, which is spicy, but not too spicy (for those of us who like & are accustomed to spice. If you are sensitive to spice, avoid) The tacos were good, just not bursting with the sabor for which I was hoping. I wonder if a different salsa would make a difference...
I really like the fries. Thick cut & yummy!
Spanish rice was flavorful, but a little dry (just a tad).
Beans & rice were ok. It's not the typical red or black beans & rice; they use white beans.
Frozato was DELICIOUS!! Vegan soft serve in vanilla, chocolate, or swirl. We got ours with cones. So yum I went back the next day before leaving town!
The menu clearly labels vegan & vegan-able dishes.
The lady taking my order was super nice, helpful, and friendly too.
It's basically like a taco take-out stand. You walk up to the street-front window and place your order, so there's no inside for seating. However, they have a few tables outside (@4?), plus a couple of benches.
Good place for a late (or anytime!) bite, especially if you're with non-veg*ns.
Pros: So many vegan options & all clearly labeled , Amazing vegan soft serve!, Open late, parking lot, friendly service
Cons: Needs a little more sabor in the soy chorizo
