Beautiful place! - Edit
Our visit was great. The staff was amazing, friendly and very patient when it came to describing all the options that can be veganized (there were two other parties coming after us who were also asking about vegan options). Vegans will have no issues eating here. We chose the outside seating that was really cute. If you like cozy mismatching tables and chairs surrounded by plants, you will love this place as well. We ordered their mango juice, wrap and burger coming with veggies, quinoa etc. as sides and the cake. We enjoyed everything that we have been served but the cake was dry, so we didn't finish it. If we are in the area, we will most likely be back. Highly recommended!

Brought colour to our evening - Edit
This eatery holds the element of surprise with an unusual order with your eyes concept and a staircase leading through a few floors up to an impressive rooftop terrace. Quirky decor including an oar used as a handrail painted with the words 'life is a voyage'. Entering the terrace is like wandering into paradise with pretty views of Cascais in the sunshine, good beats and happy holiday vibes all around!

Lovely food and vibe - Edit
Really lovely colourful restaurant in central Cascais. Have previously read a review which stated that the ‘House of Wonders’ is the place to be which I definitely agree. Sat outside on the rooftop balcony. Lovely chilled Saturday night vibe - colourful plates and great food. Different concept of picking with your eyes.

Beautiful seating, amazing food, very much worth it! - Edit
We went for lunch here and it was amazing. The seating areas outside were beautifully and colorfully decorated. There was a garden but we sat on the rooftop with a beautiful view. You have to order downstairs where a nice lady explains the options and which are vegan or can be made vegan. Every plate is fixed price €11,75. I chose the vegan sushi platter which was 10/10 delicious. We also had a delicious juice mix for €4. The food came quickly and the staff was very friendly. Best food I’ve had during my stay so far! Go here if you’re in Cascais!

Amazing Restaurant with very tasty and unique vegan options - Edit
I loved the visual display of the dishes and the way the present them. I tried a very tasty burger with the garden salad (I think they called it this way). The burger had Portobello mushroom on the top and pumpkin slice on the bottom instead of bread, very unique idea! The salads around the burger were also amazing in taste. I also love the garden and the kind staff. They also offer some nice desserts and juices!

Tastes great, very nice place and location, but 12€ is a bit excessive for a plate of mostly half-cooked vegetables

Not worth it - Edit
I don’t understand why this restaurant has so many good ratings.
Read moreI had tagliatelle with pesto and it was good but I can’t even be sure because the portion was so small I barely tasted it, I had more salad on my plate than pasta. I basically paid 13.75 for a bunch of boiled vegetables and water.
It’s not worth the price and the food isn’t that good either so I definitely don’t recommend it.

Wonderful indeed! - Edit
Recommended by friends, I visited house of funders twice in the last week. I loved the friendly atmosphere and rooftop area, as well as the colourful range of delicious delights. On my first visit I had the omelette and soup, which were both delicious although the soup was a little spicy for me. On my second visit I had the most beautiful plate of sushi I’ve seen in my whole life! It’s a pity I can’t upload a photograph as it was stunning. Delicious juices and teas and friendly service. What more can you want!

The owner presented us the whole menu and offered to create a vegan plate for our group when we asked for the vegan options. The result was delicious and very original.

We went there by many recommendations! And you really have to stop by! It's kind of hidden in town, but so worth the visit! All plates cost the same, you get a healthy juice. And it's soooo delicious! Hard to choose from all the options as well.

Amazingly healthy vegan food - Edit
This place was a true gem! Fantastically fresh vegan food (they also do vegetarian). They have a visual menu which is great because you can see what you are going to get. The staff were all great. They took time to explain all the dishes with care.
Read moreWe filled our bellies up and left feeling really happy. We ordered a butternut squash curry which was warm and comforting. We also ordered a plate of sweet potato and other vegetables/salads. So delicious. My fussy 13 year old also ate!! The vegan pannacotta was divine with a mango topping, coconut cream and strawberry compote. We are only in Cascais for a few days but will look for another opportunity to go back for more.

Lively hippie corner in Cascais - Edit
This little hippie corner was a great find in Cascais. The tables on the rooftop allowed for a good view over the streets in the historical center of the town. Great venue for a casual, intimate or friendly dinner. All options we’ve found were wholefoods and plenty of vegan options. Options are not set. I suspect they make them so to include veggies and fruits in season.

Very nice place, enchanting and cosy.

Works of art! - Edit
It's a joy to see such love delivered in a dining experience! The beautiful, fresh and delicious meals are exceptional, and the options are usefully displayed and explained before ordering. I liked the simplicity of all the lunchtime dishes costing €11.75. The restaurant and outdoor spaces are gorgeous too, with plants, art and character in abundance. I look forward to returning many times in the future!
