Pleasant as always, but not really what we expected - Edit
This is another branch from Peter Pane, but specialized on hot dogs instead of burgers. Food was tasty and fairly priced as always - but the vegan hot dogs hadn't much in common with what one would expect. One had to eat them with knife & fork, as they were impossible to lift up with hands. The sausage-replacement also hadn't anything (!) in common with a sausage and not with other vegan sausages either. It was some sort of quinoa-roll & didn't even remind of a sausage.
Read moreAll in all: Nice place to eat, but don't expect anything like vegan hot dogs. I hope they improve on that in near future. It was more like a strangely presented burger (but more difficult to eat).
Pros: Fair prices, Many vegan options, Great cocktails
Cons: Doesn't even remind of hotdogs

fancy hot dogs - Edit
The atmosphere is pretty much like Peter Pane - whimsical decor, large bar, seats could be more comfortable. In addition to the hot dogs the menu also lists burgers and salads, but why would you eat those here when you can have those pretty much anywhere else. Vegan hot dogs are still not that wide spread, especially not fancy hot dogs.
Read moreI was pretty happy with the Nordstern hot dog I ordered - I would have preferred a soy or seitan sausage but the quinoa sausage was okay. The bun was also pretty good and the toppings were great - especially the truffle cream. At 8,90€ it's pretty expensive for a hot dog, though. Another Hook Dogs speciality are the avocado fries, which are breaded and fried avocado slices. I stole a few from my friend and they were pretty tasty. But I don't know if I would have been able to finish a whole order of those as they're extremely rich.
We visited on a Sunday for lunch and it was pretty empty and therefore very quiet - thankfully.
