Really good matcha especially their horchata version! (but kind of expensive) Cute and fun ambience to hang out at!

Yum!! - Edit
The whole shop is pretty much vegan, including the pastries and milk options, besides a couple of items.
Read moreWe have ordered their matcha donut, matcha soft serve, matcha lavender latte, and matcha horchata. Holy Matcha was unable to convince my boyfriend to like matcha, but as a matcha lover, I was satisfied. The donut was pretty tasty, even if a little on the oily side. The soft serve was DELICIOUS, but unfortunately, I think it was only available for their anniversary the day I went as I have not seen it again. The drinks are good and are a balance of sweetness with no bitter aftertaste. I would say the drinks have been more milk/sweet forward than matcha forward—which I do not always mind, just depends on my mood.
If you like matcha or are curious, I recommend giving Holy Matcha a try. I really cannot complain when it is virtually all vegan, matcha heaven, and Latina owned!
Update: I forgot my boyfriend got an almond butter toast with no matcha. He said it was “kind of disappointing” and described it as an expensive bread and nut butter without being toasted. He said it tasted good, but it was not worth it. I did not try it, but just from looking at it, I would probably avoid it and stick to the pastries and other matcha-based products.

So good - Edit
This place gets packed- it may be hard to find a table if you were looking to get some work done.
Read moreIt also seemed as if nearly all of the matchas on the menu were vegan as-is. I had the strawberry rose matcha latte with oat milk and it was great. It was $8.50, standard for San Diego.

Unique Matcha place - Edit
Staff was nice, menu is unique, but the place was a little bit dirty, and to me the flavoured matchas were lacking the additional flavour, but “just” matcha taste. I do love matcha, but expected a little extra here from it. Waffle was nice.

Best matcha and donuts EVER - Edit
Ashley helped us with deciding which Matcha to choose. we tried the lavender with oat milk, it is the best Matcha I’ve ever had in my whole life and the donuts were the most amazing vegan gluten-free I’ve ever had! The strawberry with vanilla and Matcha with vanilla donuts were our favorites

Cute Cafe - Edit
Great spot to grab a drink with friends! The aesthetics are super pretty here! They have a flower wall which is nice to take pictures at. I went here before I became vegan a few years ago and had a pleasant time.

Excellent Matcha - Edit
I had the matcha latte, they use real matcha powder and it wasn't too sweet . All milks are non-dairy. I agree with the comments about staff not being very friendly. Place is very clean. By the way, they only take plastic, no cash.

holy cuteness - Edit
This adorable little matcha cafe would have gotten 5 stars, but the girls on staff aren't the most friendly. They came off as indifferent and unfriendly, but maybe it's because of the excessive photos being taken. The food and atmosphere are definitely worth a visit, however.

Instagram Heaven! - Edit
Holy Matcha is the perfect place to get your matcha fix and have a quick bite while taking photos for your instagram account. My favorites are the toasts and the original matcha. So so good! I'm excited to try the new matcha soft serve on my next visit! Be prepared to street park and pay with card as they don't accept cash.
