Offers brunch on the first Sunday of the month. A retail area sells gifts, cosmetics, and soap. As of Nov 2015 no longer operating its food stall at Wilhelmsplatz. Confirmed closed, Jun 2018.

I've visited the café many times and have never been dissapointed. The cakes are bomb (especially the "Snickers Torte") and also the main dishes are delicious and (mostly) healthy. The prices are really cheap, regarding the fact that everything is vegan and high in quality.

Nice location close to the main old town street but a bit more quiet, so it is good to sit outside. The latte macchiato with soy milk was delicious and helped me to find a brand which I now buy for home.

My omnivorous friend had no reason to complain about both the coffee and the cake, which made the visit a big success.

It’s the most amazing vegan place I’ve been to so far. The cakes are top rank, the best taste. They always serve a great variety of cakes. Also the daily changing meals are of high quality and great taste. The Döner is served every day and delicious. Everything is homemade with much professionalism and love by the owner.

Lovely spot with wonderful vegan cake! We had a latte and hot chocolate with oat milk, the lemon cheesecake, and a chocolate-cherry cake - all were wonderful! They also usually have quiche and offer a daily dish (was a lemon-pine nut pasta on the day we visited). Definitely a must-visit!

When you step into Holy Kitchen located in a tiny cobblestone street in old town Heidelberg you know this is a really special place. It's light and beautifully decorated.
Read moreWhen you then turn your attention to all the naked goodies on display you'll have a hard time what to choose. The cakes and cupcakes are very yummy and also the light lunch options and snacks are delicious. When you're there during fall, make sure to try the "Zwiebelkuchen" (onion tarte).
But the most awesome thing is the vegan brunch on the first Sunday of every month. Make sure to sort out your reservations pretty early since they tend to be booked quickly.
Meike and her staff are always very friendly and welcoming (even when you dash in five minutes before closing time and ask for a slice of the devine Snickers cake).
It's a must when we're in Heidelberg.

I have been there several times for lunch and can confirm the positive reviews here. I can just assess the lunch dishes. IMHO the offer is not particularly Haute Cuisine but nevertheless very tasty while the portions are adequate and inexpensive. The staff is friendly and the bright furniture creates a cosy atmosphere. Thus I recommend a visit here.

Vegan meals are becoming more and more easier to find but when it comes to the sweet stuff it's still motive to rejoice when one finds a shop that sells exclusively cakes and pastries. I loved what they have here. What I tasted was delicious and the staff working there had a sweet open smile to give as well. Very close to the main square in Heidelbergs old town.
