More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
First of all I've never eaten much meat, but what really gave me the impuls to become a vegeterian was to inform myself about how animals are treated in the food industry. After seeing everything that's going around on the internet I just didn't want to be a part of it anymore. It was the best decision ever. Have felt so good since (: I also feel healthier and more vital.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
Just when I started researhing about veg*nism I landed on this website and have used it since. I think it's an incredible idea. The app is the best: it helps me to find the next place to eat in my veg-friendly city (Berlin) or pinpoints me the few veg places in some remote areas (e.g. Ometepe Island in Nicaragua) while travelling. Specially the latter has been phenomenal.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
