Nice atmosphere and food - Edit
The restaurant is kind of hidden, however with the help of a map we found it. I had the shepherds pie and a lemon tart, both were tasty. The atmosphere is very nice.

Quite fancy - Edit
We walked in and were able to get a table. Food was really good, it was Sunday so they were serving a sort of brunch menu. I had the truffle scramble and it was VERY tasty, everything was well seasoned. My bf had the roast which he really enjoyed. Neither of us were much of a fan of the dessert which he accurately described as 'posh baby food'. Nice atmosphere in the place and everything is GF. Really nice staff and service. The dinner time menu looks amazing so I'd like to go back and try it! I would say the menu situation is very confusing, I saw 3 different versions when I visited.

Extremely disappointing - Edit
I was so looking forward to the Easter special holy roast (especially the Cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire pudding which is hard to find a vegan version of anywhere!). The food looked good but was so bland! The potatoes were also on the dry side and there was not enough gravy for a roast. Cabbage was boiled and not seasoned well. Vegetables overcooked. Altogether a very disappointing meal (and at £18 a portion, not light on the wallet either).

Worst experience - Edit
Went there for lunch. Had really dirty glasses, service was bad too. Everyone was running around but doing little. Atmosphere was like in a train station. It took very long until the food came and then it was the starter together with the main. We had maki for starter and a small burger with exactly 9 fried as main. Both was nearly tasteless but very pricy, we paid 65 Pounds. Never ever again, one star would be too much.

Fabulous - Edit
This place is amazing, even the toilets are great!! Loved the Seafood Platter and the Crispy Maki Rolls. Didn't like the very dense bread bun that was part of the Crab Burger, but it was to be expected as it was gluten free so I can't mark them down on that. Tofu was divine. Great decor, and super staff!! Our main waitress was brilliant. Loved the Birthday Dessert plate. Can't wait to go back!!! Up there in our top 5 places in London.

Holy Carrot - Edit
I have since been to this restaurant post pandemic. While the interior is very beautiful, this time I didn't enjoy the food so much as I did when I was having it delivered. I personally think this is better for the experience at the restaurant over the food.

I’ve ordered Holy Carrot via Deliveroo many times and have been pretty pleased with their vegan summer rolls. I haven’t been to the restaurant but I hear it’s nice.

I spontaneously decided to visit this restaurant when I was in the area. Unfortunatley there was no table left (highly recommended to make a booking!). I stayed for a drink at the bar and tried some of their bar food, which was exceptionally delicous.

Cannot be happier about my experience at the Holy carrot. Everything just perfect. The location, the menu, the service… the amazing cocktails!!! The dedication, details and experience that are behind every single dish. We had a lovely waitress, Emilia, that navigated us through the menu and the wine list and helped us to choose our dinner. Everything was impeccable and with the Seaspiracy menu, 20% from each seafood platter sold goes to support Seaspiracy’s fight to save aquatic life.

Interesting, delicious dishes - Edit
Good-looking, fully vegan venue! Was wonderful to see atypical dishes — particularly the focus on vegan “seafood.” We loved Seaspiracy dish! The “classics” like the orange cauliflower were delicious, but rather pricey for something we thought was a main. If we hadn’t ordered side truffle fries, wouldn’t have felt like a proper meal. Overall, is worth a visit! Just hope the staff try to make more main meal options.

Delicious vegan food - Edit
The starters were lovely and mains quite nice. I did find the price of beverages, particularly the coffee, ridiculous. We had the vegan cheesecake and could not finish it. It was too rich. The place is beautiful snd the staff was very friendly. #Veganuary

Incredible food - loved it!
Read moreWe ordered the maki plate which was filling and varied! So tasty! And unique use of quinoa and edible flowers. Large sized!
Also ordered the Norfolk Asparagus - cooked perfectly with an amazing garlic puree and sweet potato puree! Serving size isn't filling but was shared between 2.
Then we had the sexy tofu dish - really unique! really flavourful. Amazing puree base and spicy and sweet - loved it!
And then the chips with black truffle mayo - incredible! best chips and even asked for a second large pot of mayo.
Cocktails were fine - interesting but not strong and kind of watery but still good.
It was my birthday so I got a lovely brownie at the end!
Staff were very nice and welcoming as well as funny and complimentary towards my outfit.
Best part however - the toilets. Warmed seats and bidet function! Loved this place. 10/10 recommend.
Pros: Amazing food, lovely atmosphere, good price
Cons: Cocktails could have been stronger, no dumplings when we were there :(

Anyone looking for a lovely meal in pretty surroundings just off Sloane Street look no further than Holy Carrot. The food was wonderful, I particularly loved the Crispy Maki and the raw Vietnamese-style green rolls (the peanut sauce that comes with it is incredible). I've had better steamed dumplings but they were still very good. The chips are some of the best I've had, super crispy and dipped in the peanut sauce they're even better. Didn't have room for cocktails or dessert but both looked fantastic as they were being served.

Beautiful, delicious and healthy - Edit
Great place, all the dishes look amazing and taste good. I really appreciate a vegan restaurant that doesn't go for the fast foods and meat substitutes that seem to be dominating the market now. Everything is gluten free and sugar free so this can be a plus for some. They use different grains, fresh herbs, spices and seeds so the nutritional value is really good.
