Wish high tea was better - Edit
Very beautiful presentation of the high tea. Very friendly and attentive staff. The interior, too noisy: I got so dizzy after 20 minutes inside. I feel like a lot of venues need to put more effort into sound proofing, especially if it's fine dining!
Read moreI feel like the high tea was extremely overpriced for the amount of food that we got. I know this is the concept of high tea but if something costs this amount and only 1 food item on each plate of the 3-floor-tray was dreamy, then the experience is overshadowed... I really enjoyed the raspberry cake and the "sushi" roll. The avocado cracker tasted burnt (really bad, honestly), the bread with the potato salad on top felt soggy and the eclair, which I really looked forward to, needed a bit more"punch". I felt as if a lot of the tastes didn't break through. For example, the lemon cheesecake tasted only lemon. I wanted more flavours, more balance, more experimentation. Maybe the tea I paired with wasn't optimal? I love the idea of vegan fine dining and hope to return here one day and be pleasantly surprised. Cheers!

The entire menu looks amazing and has lots of really interesting choices that are plant-forward (and not just replacing meats). I had the shepherds pie croquette with crispy leek hay, and holy “buffalo” crunchy oyster mushrooms with ranch dressing and grilled gem heart. You should have them too, especially the croquette, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and melted perfection on the inside.

It wasn’t easy to get a table here on a Friday evening, so we had to eat earlier than we would’ve wished, but it was worth it.
Read moreAll the food here is vegan and everything was tasty. The small plates were particularly delicious. The “crab“ made from hearts of palm was very delicately flavoured. The shepherd’s pie croquettes on leek “hay” were fun and the maki was particularly good. Desserts were lovely too. The only slightly disappointing dish was the Caesar salad.
The environment is light and airy and service was efficient and helpful. Prices are on the high side but worth it for the quality. Recommended.
Pros: All food is vegan., Interesting and original flavour combinations., Small plates particularly good.
Cons: A bit pricey, but it is in Knightsbridge!

Holy Carrot Batman! - Edit
I had reserved a table for dinner although there were a couple of tables free. It’s a nice venue but noise travels in the restaurant. I ordered a mocktail (pricey) and I asked if I ordered the tofu and the bread would it be too much to order dessert on top of this and I was advised that the tofu was one of their filling dishes. Therefore I changed to risotto. The bread was nice with the truffle and garlic butter. That came out at the same time as the risotto. No mocktail yet. I did want to yell out “holy carrot batman, I think I’ve ordered the kid’s meal” when I saw the size of the risotto…very small. But the risotto did have a lot of flavour and the texture of it was great. I just wanted another few spoonfuls. I’d finished my bread and risotto and after that the mocktail came, wheel of fortune. It wasn’t my favourite mocktail and it really should have arrived before the food in my opinion. I’m not sure what happened there.
Read moreThere were two desserts that weren’t available but I was able to order autumn berries velvet mousse. This was really nice. I had a soy latte with matcha too. That was ok.
Ultimately nice food but small portions. I did feel like the service was slow. I’m not sure if that is deliberate or not, but if you had something planned afterwards, I’d let them know. The service was friendly though.

the selection of foods for afternoon tea was fantastic. and the vodka gimlet was one of the best i’ve had. no complaints about food or alcohol at all. i will say the tea was a little lackluster for being an afternoon tea service, and the actual service was incredibly, incredibly slow.

The place is amazing. The food is varied and delicious. They seem not to use any mock meats and rely more on vegetables.
Read moreWe had the calamari for starter and it was ok, but nothing to write home about. Then we had the holy maki, which was very good. But the real winner was the sexy tofu and sexy it was. We've had plenty of tofu in our lives, but this might just take the cake. Really great, texture, firm inside and crispy outside. It burst of flavour throughout, not only from the coating and sauce, but itself. Absolutely delicious! We were to get a repeat, but ended up settling for the apple pie for dessert, which was very tasty with a great play of textures.
As with the other restaurants in the area, it is expensive. Having said that, the sexy tofu alone was worth the trip.

This was a really nice place to eat. The interior was beautiful and the quality of food was top notch. The price was a little higher than maybe a standard vegan restaurant but nothing that didn’t match is quality, location and experience. Overall we loved it.

So pleased to have found this place offering a vegan and gluten free (and sugar free!) afternoon tea that doesn’t compromise on variety or taste. Highly recommended! There is also a cosy little bar attached with a novel cocktail menu.

Creative food, good flavor, well cooked. We split several small plates. The tofish and chips was the most creative and unexpected. The cabbage was unbelievably flavorful. Also enjoyed the croquettes. Would say the maki was just so so. It was good but wouldn’t order that here again. The miso cake was extraordinary - save room for dessert! Also enjoyed the drinks lounge, so come a little early for a pre-dinner drink.

Read moreFor starters, we shared the maki which were OK but nothing to write home about.
Then we had the oyster mushroom “wings” and the “tofish and chips”. One of the dishes came almost 5 minutes later than the other, with no apologies given. Both were fried and incredibly heavy on the stomach, just not well fried at all.
Our server was not friendly and the dish we wanted to return sat at the corner of the table uneaten for about 10 minutes, with staff walking past but not asking us how the food was.
Even with the main dishes comped, we paid 65 pounds (otherwise it would have been over 100). WAY too expensive.

I had the cabbage as a side and wasn’t expecting much, but I was surprised by how flavourful it turned out to be. Then I had the celeriac risotto as a main and again it tasted amazing. Very special flavours. I had The Fool cocktail and loved it. I wish I lived in London to be able to go there again and try more of their menu. While the restaurant is expensive, it is definitely worth the money.
