Great island-good-weather-fresh vibe!

50% of their menu is vegan, BOOOM!! This outdoor restaurant is also a farm. They serve from farm to table.

What a cool place!

I had lunch there and had ice tea, plantain lasagna and pecan pie and everything was delicious. Afterwards I took a walk through the farm and you can see how much effort they take to maintain the farm. So much love in that place!

A must visit for everyone!

I wanted to visit as soon I saw and knew that it was a farm to table kind of establishment plus it confirmed that I chose well when Maurice, owner of The Nut House recommended me going there. Réservation had already been made for Saturday morning! Reservations are a must especially on the weekends so as not to be disappointed.
It felt special and just lovely when I arrived with the rustic barn, colourful hand painted signs and when I arrived at the indoor/outdoor dining area. This is a place that screams for one to hang out, chill, enjoy the vibe, delicious food and meet the animals in the sanctuary. Slow and easy!
All the servers were friendly and smiling which put me in a greater mood! I ordered an oat latte which was generous and not all foam. I had decided on the buckwheat pancakes with date syrup, almonds , coconut and seasonal jam which were delicious.
I decided to order a beetroot quinoa burger with chips and some vegan desserts for my in flight food as no meal would be served. They prepared it but I would assemble it to avoid getting soggy which was greatly appreciated.
Loved seeing it fill up quickly especially with families of young children who were all fascinated by visiting the rescued animals. I loved that!
My only complaint was that I was surprised to see bacon and chicken on the menu if they are rescuing animals ( chickens, dogs, cats, donkeys, horses) and spoke to the server about it who would mention it to the owner. As a farm to table establishment who rescues animals , I see no need for bacon and chicken to be on the menu. Keep it vegetarian and vegan only. People will still come if delicious, home cooked all natural food.

Pros: dining area indoor/outdoor, several vegan food options including dessert, friendly service

Cons: surprised bacon/chicken on menu with sanctuary

Vegan Options Available

Restaurant that offers some vegan options. The dishes we tried were very good. The Venezuelan attendant (Jaime) was super kind and friendly. Suggestion for improvement: maybe it is dishes in larger quantities, or maybe the dishes with lower prices.

Lovely spot with vegan options

Unfortunately the buckwheat pancake didn't had much taste. Make sure to order it with extra jam. Coffee was lovely!

Pros: Spacious, Friendly staff

Cons: Unclear where to go upon your first arrival, Charges extra for non-diary milk

Good local food

They have lots of vegan options. The eatery is only opened on the weekend, till 15.00. It’s quite nice to sit on the terrace. Behind that is their garden. We had a burger and a chickpea flower pancake with a bit of avocado on it. We also had a vegan carrot cake (just the cake, no cream on it) and vegan pistache cake.

Cons: Portions could be a bit bigger

Vers!

Great spot

Some vegan options (also on the changing menu). They also have a plot next to it with a kitchen garden and a store.

Creative yummy truly farm to table food!

Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. We had huevos rancheros, a tartine with local walnut bread, local goat cheese, jam, lettuce from the farm, and sliced almonds, and my dad has a moussaka with sweet potato and eggplant from the farm (sadly it did have beef in it). They have espresso and wine, and desserts. Food was creative and good, plenty of choices. Service was very slow, but we were in a pleasant place to hang out for a while.

Pros: farm to table, affordable creative fresh menu, baby goats

Cons: slow.

decent food, terrible staff... won't return

We made a reservation and when we got there we waited for 5 minutes while servers walked past us and barely acknowledged us.

Finally, we just sat down at the table that looked like it was for us and waited longer for someone to confirm it. We finally got menus 10 mins later.

We explained we were vegan and so I ordered an ice coffee to drink. The server brought me out an iced latte with cows milk. I was puzzled by the level of attention this place gave to its decor and menu planning that the service could be so bad.

We got our food 45 mins after ordering and had to flag the waitress down to get water, salt and pepper, etc.

She tried to charge me for a latte that I never ordered and when I told her she rolled her eyes and grabbed the bill from my hands and fixed it without saying anything.

I was very excited to try this place and get a good feel for what they were promoting but we left feeling a little weirded out over the whole experience.

The only offer a couple vegan options that were pretty tasty but not very filling.

Pros: flavor, decor

Cons: staff, lack of options, no love here

Very nice cozy seating and meal

Excellent place for vegetarian / Vegan meals. Enjoyed salads with Fried Yucca picked from the back of the farm.

Pros: Long opening hours and being a farm with their own

Amazingly beautiful place with a nice variety where also meat eaters are welcome to get to know the place and what it stands for.
