Hummus Haven - Edit
Right in downtown Frederick there be a quaint hummus cafe ( vegan of course). We grabbed a table in front and enjoyed the Hippy Sampler, very delicious and certainly enough for two. Finished up with a peanut butter cookie.

Very cute and quaint, downtown location. Generous and fresh serving of salad, delicious hummus and sandwiches. Small but cute restaurant and even one outdoor table. Great and friendly customer service. They make their own kombucha.

Cool Little Shop - Edit
We stopped in for a bite after work and before looking at all the Christmas lights on Carroll Creek. Delicious wraps, big enough for two meals. There are only two tables in the front, which suggests you should take your food to go.

I’ve heard great things about Hippy Chick Hummus for a few years and finally got a chance to go recently. I’m so happy I did because it is now one of my favorites, delicious food! Definitely recommend.

We eat more of a whole food plant based diet rather than vegan and the sweet girls that worked here were so knowledgeable and able to help us out! Highly recommend! Hubs loved his GF wrap…it was so nice and soft for being gf and I LOVED the ricotta panini…the vegan ricotta was truly amazing and the fact that they used sweet cherry tomatoes was such a refreshing flavor change from boring big grocery store tomatoes that have no flavor….and the bread was just so soft and fresh. Can’t wait to come back to try other things!

My husband's brother and sister in law took us here and it was so welcome on our road trip. We sat in a lovely shaded backyard. Not to be missed: the humus sample plate with three humuses, green falafel and veg, and the chick'n sandwich with homemade chickpea patty and ciabatta. The basil lemonade and kombucha were so refreshing. We felt satiated and vibrant on a mellow August afternoon.

I am never disappointed when I go there, they have a lot of choices and specials so you never get tired of the menu. It's not the place to go if you are craving rich, heavy foods though. It's all light and healthy. Which is not usually what I pick when I'm going out to eat, but is a nice change once in a while.

The cheese panini and turmeric black pepper hummus were good. The broccoli flatbread was a miss. I could've made it at home, and better. The interior of the cafe is cute. I'd go back to try other things but I wasn't blown away.

Read moreThe restaurant itself is small and cozy with a lovely bay window/book nook and interesting pieces of art displayed (and for sale).
I had the walnut crumble taco salad and it was fantastic! The walnut meat was seasoned to perfection and paired well with the crispy greens, corn, black beans and tortilla chips.
My son, who is NOT vegan and a very picky eater overall, had the cashew ricotta grilled cheese and he loved it!
We also had the olive oil chocolate chip cookies and OMG they were so, so good! They have a hint of cardamom which takes the cookie to another level of deliciousness!

Love this little place - Edit
This is small place on Market St in the heart of downtown Frederick. Tried the falafel salad with garlic hummus and a banana almond smoothie and they were both amazing. The service and atmosphere were great and we can't wait to go back to try more of the food. It's an hour away from home, but worth the drive.

I was so enthusiastic reading the menu... broccoli tacos, Buffalo cauliflower tacos, a hummus platter, grilled cheese... all vegan? I finally decided on the salad with hummus and falafel. The cashier rattled off a list of seven kinds of hummus and all of them just sounded so amazing I asked her which one she recommended. She suggested the garlic and I thought you can't go wrong with that. So. True. This salad was beautiful -- a feast for the eyes and the stomach! I wish I could have tried some of the other stuff, but this can be done in time and trust me we will be back.

Great spot with indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff and food was good and prepared quickly. Much more than just hummus, but their hummus is really good. Tried 2 different sandwiches with side salad and also chips with old bay hummus and we enjoyed everything. They also have a selection of kombucha on tap. We will be back!

Found another amazing vegan restaurant on our vacation through this app. Everything was excellent and prepared with lot of care. The place looks small but they have indoor seating and also outdoor seating and back seating on the patio which was great for us. Grilled cheese panini is made with cashew cheese and the falafel sandwich and smoothie bowl with added toppings are definitely worth coming back to if we we visit the city again. Hummus and the dressing was finger licking delicious.

We got a chick’n sandwich, the mermaid lemonade, the peanut butter cup, and the peanut butter cookie. The sandwich was pretty good, just not my taste. The desserts both had a bit of an odd after taste. But the owner was there when we came and she was super friendly and gave us kombucha samples. I’ll definitely give this place another try.
