Vegans/veg - please do yourself a favour and avoid this place!! - Edit
If you're vegan or vegetarian, absolutely avoid!!!
Read moreWe came across this place in the torvellerne market. We felt like mexican and there isn't any other place serving it. The tacos that others were having looked decent however when we looked at the menu, the tacos combo had pork, beef and seasonal veggies. Being vegetarian, we asked if the combo caters to our dietary requirements. The lady at the counter said she can make all 3 vegetarian so that was a good start. Looking at the tacos itself, they didn't look very appealing but we ploughed through and tried them. They were absolutely disgusting...the worst tacos I have had and I have had a few of them around the world. They were made full of flavourless cabbage and peppers, with some burnt peanuts on top. Bearing in mind, there is no protein i.e tofu/ tempeh etc for veg...they could have done better with the taste just by adding some sauces/salsa as the cost is the same as the meat combo. If you're a VEGETARIAN, ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS PLACE!! I would give it a 0 if I can.

3 small tacos with cabbage and salsa costs 115 DKK! They also have rice and beans, but they couldn’t add beans to the tacos for protein 🤷🏽♀️ oh, and their guacamole for 35 DKK was the size of half an avocado….

Basic tortillas for a snack or a meal - Edit
The size of one tortilla was really small so a good option for a snack (or if you want a proper meal, get at least 3). The service was super fast! The tortilla I took (kale and something else) was okay, nothing special.

Not always vegan tacos - Edit
Unfortunately no vegan tacos on the day I went, as they cooked the potato option in butter, but the beans and rice, plus the tostados and salsas are vegan. They also let me have some plain tortillas to try on the side

They didn’t have a vegan taco option when we went there. We got only sides (beans and rice and toastadas) - they were good but quite expensive.

Excellent option to be able to eat with pple from all diet. We all loved the food and they all loved the vegan tacos. I recommend to take the "combo tacos": you'll have the three different tacos (one of which is vegan). Ask the vegan option at the desk as it's not written on the menu. It's spicy ! Really nice atmosphere and staff.

Probably the best vegan tacos in Europe - Edit
Always 1 of 3 tacos on the menu is a vegan option. And boy, is it good. Colorful, fresh, packed with flavor… I‘m from Texas and never had tacos there as good as these.
