Basic - Edit
A smoke house that’s barely catering for non meat eaters, but I guess that what one should expect. Basically just sides to order. The Frickles (sp?) were good but only because I’d never had them before. Went there on a work do and wouldn’t revisit otherwise.

The only place open on Sunday night in winter! - Edit
The vegan sides here are basically junk food and the vegan burger was a sad, shrunken soy patty. The accoutrements with the burger were good but I would rather have a vegan patty that was edible.

Pros: party atmosphere outside in the dining 'sheds', The free popcorn starter was yummy
Cons: vegan burger came with a side of dairy coleslaw, its a smokehouse...racks of meat everywhere

Only One Vegan Option - Edit
Hickory's primarily serves meat and currently offers a Southern Fried Vegan Fajita as their only vegan dish since removing the Vegan Po-Boy Sub from their menu. For children, they offer Southern Fried Vegan Fillets served with fries. There are vegetarian starters, mains, and desserts available.
