Stoner Vegan Paradise - Edit
We came here twice and the server was extremely friendly and helpful both times. The only food we ordered were the mushroom street tacos and they were delicious. They have really interesting tea and drinks (no alcohol). We had a mocktail with mushrooms in it, a cacao, and a hot rose tea and all were very tasty. They also have a variety of cannabis tinctures and other interesting things. We tried the “smoke glass” and enjoyed the experience 😎

Lovely atmosphere, great staff but food too salty - Edit
This is a really cute little restaurant, the staff were really attentive, friendly and knowledgable. The dishes all sounded delicious and were pretty to look at. The one problem was that the food was so salty it overpowered all other tastes which was such a shame.

Good, not great, and pricey for small portions - Edit
I really enjoyed the vibe, set, and setting of this spot. The server was super nice and very attentive. The food was good with good flavor. My only hangup with how small the portions were for the cost. My partner and I left hungry after having spent $80 for lunch.

Great spot, great food - Edit
It nice to have a place that makes food a little differently than most other places. Very creative. We tried the mac n cheese egg rolls and they were probably the thing we liked least but still good! The cashew hemp seed cheese was incredible, as was the fried maitake sandwich. Vibes inside were really cool too!

It was fine - Edit
We came for brunch and tried the carrot lox bagel, eggplant BLT, hazelnut horchata and tangerine tincture. The lox did not taste like lox but it was fine. Nothing was very flavorful, but it wasn’t bad. Overall, okay food and cute vibes.

Very chill atmosphere, tasty mocktails. - Edit
My wife and I went on New Year's Eve and we're not disappointed. We didn't stay for the scheduled NYE party, but had plenty of delicious food and drinks. Presentation was nice and wait staff was very welcoming. We had the Mac and Cheese Veggrolls, Wild Rice Soup, and the Oyster Mushroom Ribs. #Veganuary

Great food and bevies! - Edit
Lovely experience! Just to set your expectations: the food is all vegan and contains NO THC. The drinks are all normal mocktails unless you order a THC tincture to add to it (laws dictate you have to buy the THC separate and add it yourself). There are a lot of mock tail options and I think 4-5 tincture options with a variety of flavors and strengths, from 5mg to 50mg THC. Plus canned THC drinks. No alcohol. #Veganuary

Delightful! - Edit
The space at Hi, Flora! is super stylish and cozy. Our server was so sweet, and I think they were the owner! We tried the cashew hemp cheese dip, mushroom shawarma, and wild rice burger. All were pleasantly yummy! It seems like the drinks are where they really shine.

Eh. - Edit
5 stars for ambience, such a cute trendy resturaunt in the heart of Uptown, but the food was very sub-par. Mac n Cheese EggRolls were bland and the Avocado toast was subpar. Love the concept of utilizing THC but it just does not makeup for the high cost of everything. They have a extensive mock tail menu and I chose the Bana Coloda (20 dollars) and it was undrinkable. Overall very disappointed but, happy more vegan options are in town but go down the street to VeganEast or French Meadow instead.

Queer Friendly, Vegan & THC Restaurant - One of a kind! - Edit
Warm and welcoming staff with comfortable seating. Adorable patio- we had bumble bees and birds hanging around us with some of the plants they use in their food.
Read moreWe tried:
-Parch Prickly Paloma was refreshing.
-Phony Negroni but it tasted like a Negroni and was also refreshing.
-Smoked tincture was nice that you could control your own dosage. It went well in the drinks and food.
-Mac N Cheese Veggrolls were fried perfectly.
-Truffle Smashed Potato Skins the sauce had a nice kick to it and the broccolini was delicious.
-Hi! Quesadilla was eaten quick that I didn’t get a full picture which speaks for itself.
High QUALITY restaurant, you pay for what you get and I would highly recommend it! We will be coming back!
Added bonus that they were very queer friendly!

Great vegan food - Edit
We’ve tried quite a few different things here, and are always really happy with what we get. The food is fresh, super clean, and executed beautifully. The bar makes healthy, non-sugary mocktails with lots of options for things like adaptogens. The atmosphere is nice and the servers are very friendly. The only drawbacks are that the price matches the quality (so it’s on the expensive side) and they seem to be chronically understaffed, so it can take a little longer. I’d say it’s worth the money and give them grace because the staffing situation is tough all over and they did just open recently. Please pay them a visit - we need this place in Minneapolis.

Creative comfort food - Edit
Light portioned comfort food, artful pairings and mocktails, options to add THC and/or CBD tinctures to you drinks. Great service, knowledgeable staff, easy and relaxed setting. The 20% service charge is built in upon billing and split across all staff, so tips are truly gratuity (not necessarily expected) and not making up for low wages.

Plant-based eats/ nice vibe! - Edit
Stopped in hoping to sample their contender for the @tcveganchefchallenge (wild rice burger), but it wasn’t available. Opted for their quesadilla instead. This is a temperance bar (no alcohol), but they offer many mocktails. Tried the Strawberry Sunburst ($19!) It was quite nice, made with fresh basil from their garden, but probably won’t get it again for that price. I asked about the THC option to add to the drink/meal, and the server advised they weren’t doing that yet? The quesadilla ($11) was tasty and beautifully presented, with flower petals, fresh salsa, and guacamole. 20% service fee is automatically added to the check, which is cool, but they also invite you to tip above that…a bit confusing. Nice place.

Hi! Thanks for trying us! We did have one day since opening that the health department made us (new Aug. 1 law we just were told about mid August) stop selling THC until we got a liquor license. We applied immediately so we could continue to sell our tinctures but one day mid August did suffer. Hope you try us again!

California vibes but with hearty food - Edit
So the obvious elephant in the room is that Hi Flora is the fanciest and most expensive vegan restaurant in town. The portions are smaller than you'd find in a typical American restaurant, but larger than you'd find in a high-end restaurant. Enough to fill me up, but not enough to feel absolutely bloated or have leftovers for three days. If you're just looking to get full on the cheap, this is not the restaurant for you.
Read moreBut here's the thing: The food is EXCELLENT. It's expensive because there's fancy mushrooms in many of the dishes (which taste vastly different than supermarket mushrooms, which are all just agaricus bisporus under different branding). It's the kind of quality fancy meal that I've had in larger metropolises but never in Minneapolis. I forget the name of my dish, but it was a potato, green bean, mushroom dish, and it was excellent. My dining partner got the quesadillas. I hate vegan cheese in general, but the quesadillas were the best vegan quesadillas I've had. The mousse was delicious, too.
The decor gave me major Cali vibes, but the food was hearty midwestern food.
The THC works like this: you can either order cans of 3-5% THC or THC/CBD drinks or a dropper of 5% THC infusion. You can either add the infusion to your food or your drink. I added it to my drink, and it tasted much better than expected (I usually dislike the taste of canna beverages). None of the food is prepared with cannabis in it by default.
They add an automatic 20% service fee, plus options for a 3%, 5%, of 7% tip. That's weird, and I definitely prefer no-tip establishments, but it's the 2020s and tipping has gotten weird.
Pros: Atmosphere, Excellent food

Scrappy new spot - Edit
Very excited to go back. The sugarcane "wings" are delightful, the shroomy schwarma is as delicious as it is difficult to say, and the mac vegrolls should be on a stick at the state fair. The kava lemonade on its own is a better lift than alcohol can offer, and the THC tincture doesn't hurt.
Read moreThe prices are high, but that makes sense when you consider most restaurants make their profit on low-cost alcohol and bulk produce, where HF is emphasizing small and local sourcing, and alcohol alternatives that really are euphoric. That's a very bold model and it's worth supporting.
Also stop by the bodega and buy all of the Otherly chocolate bars.

Stopped in this last weekend and very much enjoyed the coral tooth mushroom wings and the hi quesadillas! Also had the strawberry sunburst drink and enjoyed it!

Cool thc bar plus food - Edit
The atmosphere of this place is really cool I have to admit. We did not partake in any thc drinks.
Read moreMac and cheese veggrolls ($12) were very good!
Fajitas ($22) were so mid. Not worth the price imo.
Avocado cacao mousse ($15) was rich and well balanced.
The staff is great and still getting used to working there, so be patient. Overall I’d go here for drinks and apps, but probably not a full meal. They also asked for an additional tip on top of a 20% service fee which was a bit confusing because we did not get full service.
