Great store!

Cracking idea, all shops should adopt!
Lovely products too, delicious berries and excellent soaps and toothbrushes!! Toothbrushes!!!

Great Concept

I love the concept of this place. There's plenty of grains, pulses, seeds and nuts available, along with washing up liquid, laundry detergent etc. Personally I'd need to drive or use public transport to get there which would probably offset the environmental benefit of zero packaging.

Sadly, I think the majority of the public will only go for zero packaging when the big supermarkets take it on and when there are financial benefits to people in shopping this way, but I hope Hetu is a big success and if I lived within walking distance I'd be a regular.

Pros: Great for the environment, Lots of choice available, Reasonably priced

Fantastic idea

Great range of nuts, pulses and beans. I love the little cosmetic and cleaning product section. Bring your reusable tubs/jars and do your bit for the environment. The woman who runs it is lovely and I will be supporting this loyal enterprise. All vegan!

Amazing

So glad more of these kind of places are popping up. Feel lucky to have one just down the road! Hetu is such a great little store, with all the essentials you need to help live a zero waste life. Bring your own jars or the have paper bags on standby for first timers. Even better, they also have a jar donation point which you can take from. A must visit.

Pros: Buy in bulk, Not just vegan food, but vegan everything!, No plastic in sight

Cons: Can sell out of certain items quickly

incredible little shop

I honestly left Hetu feeling so good and positive after my first visit there the other week. The owners are really friendly, helpful and lovely. The shop is gorgeous, and has a great selection of dried goods, mylk and toiletries for you to fill up on.

amazing concept - great delivery

This is such an incredible concept. Bring your own containers and fill them with beans, pulses, cereals, herbs, spices, oils and detergents.
