There’s like one vegan option...

So there is only one vegan option that I saw, the tofu rice bowl. There was a falafel option, but it wasn’t labeled vegan like the tofu rice bowl was, so assuming that it wasn’t vegan. The tofu was cold and without any kind of seasoning.😡

Cons: Maybe one vegan option...

We catered using this restaurant only vegan options 1 of which was the tofu rice wrap. It was cold and completely tasteles. Everyone complained. My husband and I ate there when it 1st opened up and ordered the Tofue dish. It was horrible. How could they serve raw cold tofue completely void of any seasoning or flavor. This was yrs ago. I guess they haven't learned. Dosen't a chef have to taste there food?

Good Custom Bowl

I never miss an opportunity to create a custom bowl. I made a fine one here. Some good vegetables, tofu or falafel. Bummers: vegan and vegetarian not labeled (this mainly impacts sauces), default tip is 20% and challenging to change except to 15%, take-out comes without utensils which you wouldn't know if you didn't check sealed bag.

Cons: A little pricey with almost-mandatory tip, Veg items not labeled.

Good for when you’re on the go

Didn’t see very many options in the area but this place was one of them. We were kind of in a hurry and were happy that it was ready fast. We ordered the vegan tofu bowl, falafel wrap & waffle fries.
The tofu bowl felt like it was missing something - fresh herbs? A bit more seasoning? It was kinda bland.
My husband said he thought his falafel wrap was kind of dry and mostly filled with spring mix salad.
The waffle fries could’ve been better....likely frozen - a bunch of them had two stuck together which meant the middle didn’t get cooked properly and they were very soggy in the middle.

Fun Vegan Options

Falafel bowl is a build-your-own. The staff is knowledgeable with vegan options, and the menu is pretty user friendly.

Pros: Vegan options

Good veg options

I visited Heritage Eats after relocating to Napa and like the concept. The vegan protein option that they have is falafel and you can create a bowl with either salad or rice as the base or you can have a wrap or pita and create a sandwich. They have good veggie options and some great sauces like lemon tahini and harissa. Once you pick your protein and your base, you can add up to 4 toppings. They are generous with the toppings. Finally, you add your sauce and any garnish. The price is great and the service is quick.

Pros: Price, Vegan options

Cons: None

Vegan Crispy Falafel

This is a very meat-centric restaurant so I typically only dine here if I am with omnivorous friends. The crispy falafel is a vegan-friendly option that can be served in a pita, on a salad or in a rice bowl. Several of the toppings and sauces are vegan-friendly - confirm with the serves when ordering. My last visit, I was told the coleslaw contained honey. I really enjoy the grilled seasonal veggies and the roasted corn & edamame. Ben, the Founder, is very involved in fundraising and has hosted events for a local animal protection group & is actively involved in ending childhood hunger.

Pros: Inexpensive for Napa, active in the community , several vegan sides & sauces

Cons: Markets humanely raised meat so consumers feel bet, Meat-centric, Posters of the ranchers on the walls
