Read moreFrühstück im Bistro von Hempies in der Händelstraße. Es gibt eine Vielzahl kreativ zusammengestellter belegten Brötchen und Snacks. Alles vegan, ein Traum!
Ein Frühstück zum selber belegen und streichen wie in einem Cafe gibt es nicht, alle Brötchen sind schon belegt.
Wir haben davon ausgiebig probiert
Flotte Lotte, ein Körnerbrötchen mit Linsenaufstrich, gebratenem Räuchertofu, Salat und Gemüse
Nora’s Gärtchen, eine Laugenstange mit veganem Frischkäse und Schnittlauch
Katti’s Körnchen, eine Laugenecke mit veganer Mayonnaise und veganem Käseersatz
Schokoschnute, ein Plunderteighörnchen mit Schokocreme und Schokotopping
Dazu gab es einen Hafermilch- Cappuccino und einen Kakao.
Das Ambiente ist nett, der Platz im Bistro könnte optimaler genutzt werden. Wir waren fast alleine dort, daher war es sehr angenehm.
Statt Geschirr werden die Becher und Schüsseln von Re-Cup und Re-Bowl genutzt. Um Essen und Getränke mitzunehmen finden wir das gerade vom Umweltschutzaspekt her klasse. Würde vor Ort auch Porzellan genutzt und gespült werden, was sicher aufwändiger ist, als die sowieso vorhandenen Bowls zu säubern, würde das positiv zur Atmosphäre beitragen.
Uns hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt, die Kombinationen sind richtig gut.
Wir probieren bei Gelegenheit gerne weiter;).

We came to the bistro of Hempies at Händelstr. to have breakfast. There are plenty of prepared filled rolls and snacks. Everything is vegan so it is like heaven. They do not serve a classic breakfast, all rolls are already prepared sandwiches.
We tried
Flotte Lotte, a grain roll with lentil-spread and smoked tofu
Nora’s Gärtchen, a lye bar with vegan cream cheese and chives
Katti’s Körnchen, a lye corner with vegan mayonnaise and cheese substitute
Schokoschnute, a puff pastry cone with chocolate cream and chocolate topping
Accompanied with oat milk cappuccino and a cocoa.
The interior is nice, the space is not fully used. We were nearly alone, what was pleasant.
They use the re-cup and re-bowl equipment instead of tableware. Due to environmental protection this is great for take-away. We prefer dishes at a local spot. Perhaps this is more elaborately.
We liked everything, the combinations are really good and balanced. We will be back to taste some more.

Cons: limited choice, pricy, poor tea choice (only fresh mint/ ginger tea)

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bedient. Super leckere Brötchen und die Croissants sind ein Traum! Leider war die Schokoschnute schon aus und das um 9:20! Aber die mit Vanille und Zimt waren auch sensationell.

As most people have mentioned, Hempies offers amazing vegan croissants. I can also highly recommend the sandwich with home made mozzarella and pesto. The service is always great too!

Die belegten Baguettes sind unglaublich lecker (hatte Mozarella Tomate Pesto, unbedingt probieren!) und auch die veganen Vanillecroissants können sich sehen lassen!! Werde bald wieder kommen😄Große Auswahl an belegten Leckereien und gefühlt alles hausgemacht!
