Total gemütlich und nettes Café, das vegane Tiramisucroissant war genial und die belegten Brötchen auch toll! Leider ist die Auslage schnell leer und es gab nicht mehr so viel Auswahl, und der Kaffee hat auch ziemlich lamge gedauert, hier lohnt sich früh kommen.

“Finally, Breakfast Without Compromise!” - Edit
The selection isn’t huge, and it doesn’t need to be. There are croissants — plain and filled — several kinds of pastries, as well as a few savory options. Simple things, but exactly the kind of things that are so often impossible to find at a regular bakery when you’re vegan. Everything I tried was delicious, good quality, and very reasonably priced.
Read moreThe café is bright and airy, with huge windows, a beautiful counter, and a super-chill Indian music playing in the background. There are window benches where you can sit almost at sidewalk level, relax, look outside, and watch the world go by. And there are cozy little nooks where you can tuck yourself away.
One of those nooks has a big, slightly battered old wingback chair. At first, I just thought, “What a lovely idea!” Then I saw just how useful a cozy corner like this can be. A mom came in with a crying baby, settled into the chair, and started nursing while the dad got croissants, coffee, and breakfast from the counter. The corner wasn’t specifically designed for nursing — it simply worked beautifully for it. And that meant the whole family could have breakfast at the same time. What a wonderful moment!
There’s a nice variety of seating, including high-top tables by the windows that are perfect for getting some work done on your laptop. Just keep in mind that weekends are laptop-free — there’s a sign that says, “Saturday and Sunday: No Laptops.” I actually really like that idea.
The whole place feels warm, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming. Definitely worth going out of your way for.
One thing to keep in mind: on Saturdays they don’t open until 9:00 a.m. On other days, though, they open as early as 7:30.

Wir waren an einem Arbeitstag hier, um was kleines zu snacken, gerne auch warm. Aber es gab genau einen Kuchen und ein paar trockene „Reste“. Da haben wir nach Warmen nicht mehr gefragt. Kaffee- und Getränkeauswahl ist aber gut. Das Servicepersonal war zumindest heute sichtlich überfordert. Die kurze Schlange am Tresen wurde schnell länger, ohne sichtlich abgearbeitet zu werden.

The server had rude and pretentious attitude. The food was dry, and way too fatty. There’s a menu, but they didn’t have any of the food on it; there were 3 different things at the counter. Why have a menu then? 😂 Additionally, there was a cup of not clean looking silverware for use at the table. However, it’s not too expensive, and the croissant was okay.

The Trinella Mozzarella Panini was absolutely delicious (excellent mozzarella, tasty pesto). I missed a flavourful element in the “Flammkuchen” panini, as it was rather neutral in taste. The croissants are light, fluffy and not too sweet. It was very busy when we visited, so the staff were a bit stressed but still friendly.

We were really looking forward to our breakfast and the Giotto Croissants and drinks (Cappuccino & Strawberry Matcha) were super delicious. Unfortunately it took over 20 minutes to get the sandwiche, by when we had to leave and take it on the go. I thought it was kind of dry and really basic and therefore too pricy. But we would probably come again and try out other things from the menu :)

Good place but I didn’t love it - Edit
I really wanted to love this place and I absolutely love the atmosphere, but unfortunately the food and drink didn’t impress me much. The chai latte lacked flavor and tasted only like oat milk to me and I didn’t love the carrot cake (maybe a personal preference with that one). I’d love to come here again and try something new, but I wouldn’t get the chai or carrot cake again.
