I keep forgetting to take pictures when I take out food: it always goes straight into my mouth. Vegan doner (with vegan garlic sauce options!), turkish pizza and 'kapsalon': nostalgic foods to many who have turned vegan, offers the tastes you have missed. Did I already mention their mezze offerings with 2 kinds of dolma, bean/ chickpea salads AND vegan baklava? Staff is friendly and very proud of their vegan products, highly recommend!

Such a great surprise! - Edit
We were randomly walking through Amsterdam Oost and bumped into this big window-sticker saying vegan döner kebab.. and we of course had to get one. The vegan "meat" was tasty and the sauces in the kebab plus the fresh salad great as well. The nicest touch was a big poster on the wall explaining the benefits of choosing the vegan option. It's not something I usually spot in non-vegan restaurants and I loved that. We'll be back. The vegan stuffed aubergines looked tasty as well..

Amazing vegan kapsalon döner - Edit
Several options and well marked out on the screens. The staff was very friendly and asked if i wanted vegan cheese and assured me the sauce was vegan as well!

A small place with vegan doner and falafel. Pita was great and the fillings were fresh and delicious. They have a vegan yogurt cream that was delicious. Recommend!

Just the döner I needed and how it used to be. Te kebab plant protein is good, and I also liked the grilled vegetables they add. But I have to admit I really love "turkish pizza" and they had a wonderful vegan version so that made it even better.

the vegan döner is quite hefty. It’s a meal all by itself, and is pretty tasty. The bread is also toasty so it’s a warming meal if a bit heavy. This place is quick service so there are a few seats and it’s a nice lunch option.
