Witty Cafe Open Till Late

Vegan ice-cream café with lots of humorous memes and witty displays around the shop, open till late at night! Nice place to chill. The ice-cream flavours are churned in-house using plant-based milk such as Oatside and Nutrisoy. The focus is on recreating lactose-free versions of classic sweet and creamy ice-cream (like the ice-cream tubs from our childhood), as well as creating some innovative local fusion flavours. They’ve recently launched lattes and coffees too, in addition to their usual bubble tea series. They also serve vegan savoury dishes and finger food, such as mac and cheese, though note that not all of them are allium-free. Btw just for clarity - The cafe briefly served non-vegan items in 2023, but they have converted back to being fully vegan! Walking distance from Ang Mo Kio MRT.

Cute place!

All flavours of ice cream and food are fully vegan! Confirmed on 14 Nov 2023. Some of the food items do contain alliums.

I had the waffles with corny cornflakes ice cream. Delicious! Waffles were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Ice cream was light n not too sweet.

Will be back to try out the other ice cream flavours!

Very cool and Instagrammable Design

The shop looks unique from outside and amaze me when i go in. The food is all really nice. A great spot for get-together w friends! Their menu allow customers to write down heartbreak stories which I find really interesting and creative

Chic cafe with a twist

Lovely cafe with pinkish deco! I love the posters on the wall.

Other than the heart shape cripsy, thick vegan waffle with housemade solid vegan ice cream, they had vegan cheese tarts too .. but too cheesy for me.

No complains on the food other than the poor ventilation once they fried some of the mock meat.

Definitely a cool place to chill.

Lovely place

Nice cosy place with nice waffle and ice cream.
Recent went there again with a group of friends in October 2022 and noticed that they sell drinks that do contain alcohol

Interesting concept cafe! Everything Vegan 🍦😋

[Vegan 🍦, Alliums Free, Promo below] Earlier went to @heartbreakmelts to try their vegan ice cream, drinks and bites with uncoordinated outfit twinning gf @greens_hopper. The cafe carry many interesting-named flavours including 90% dark choco resentment, I love you soy matcha, & last my passion-fruit sorbet. Staff are friendly, space is cozy and cute! Really great place to hang out with fam & friend(s)💚

We had the below:
🍨 50 shades of earl grey
🍨 Tau Huay Gula Melaka
🧇 Ice cream paired with waffle (so crispy so good!!)
🍄 Fried Oyster Mushroom bites
🥤 Jia Qi Juice (Jia Qi’s recipe)

The ice cream are of thick flavour! So yummy. Love the Fried mushroom! Crispy! We spoke to one of the owners; Yong Wei and understand that they set up this cafe to be different from all the lovey-cafes #unique & to welcome all kind of people - heartbroken, happy, sad, emo, whatever mood! There’s even a book on the table for you to write down your rant too. After we wrote something while enjoying our sweets, it felt like we have make peace a little w ourselves. There are some funny/ interesting / sad message to read too. Also, few people also pasted their messages on the wall. Pretty cool place. Go check them out.

Killing two birds with one stone!

Oh! Finally managed to enjoy a Vegetarian Cone Ice Cream here. It is super! Soft, smooth and not too sweet. So many variants to choose from.

Now, I will reschedule my Vegetarian Grocery Shopping at Friendly Vegetarian Wholesale, which is just besides this Vegetarian Ice Cream Cafe, to the afternoon. So I can come to Heartbreak Melts for a pit stop before doing my shopping (operating hours from 2pm).

Killing two birds with one stone! ☺️

Vegan ice-cream Cafe with unique heartbreak theme

@heartbreakmelts is probably SG's first and only heartbreak-thematic cafe and it's unbelievably FULLY Vegan! Love their tongue-in-cheek ways of celebrating love and heartbreaks! Will recommend this place to ANYONE, Vegan or not, Single or not.

This cafe has a strong and humorous theme. Whether you are happy or frustrated with love, single, attached or having a heartbreak, you can somehow find something that speaks to your heart. Thematic posters, shoutouts and stuff toys are all around, and even ice-cream flavours are named intriguingly: lost my passion-fruit sorbet and let that MANgo.

Above all, whether one is feeling lovey, heart ache or simply hungry or peckish, there is always an excuse to enjoy and indulge in great vegan ice cream and snacks!

This cafe is founded by two good friends with a string of sad love stories, who turned their sadness into strength and opportunity. Numerous R&D efforts have been poured in to perfect the Vegan recipes.

Located just right beside Friendly (善缘) Vegetarian Food Supplier, it is a win-win for both businesses and customers!

Featured is "I Am Hungry" set ($18) that comes with 1 waffle, 2 ice-cream scoops (Thai Milk Tea & Resentment 90% Dark Chocolate) and 2 drinks (Latest Ice Fruit Tea "Jiaqi Juice"). Snacks are Osyter Mushroom ($14) and XMM Tofu ($8). Also tried their $2 NDP promo Tauhuay Gula Melaka ice-cream with cone 👍👍👍

Did a Sampling for some ice-cream flavours and the strawberry and Mango ice-cream are surprisingly impressive!

I really love their waffles for being fresh and crispy, even after a long photo shoot. From items featured, the Thai Milk Tea ice cream is my fav for being strong, creamy and unbelievably vegan! The snacks are well-fried and the oyster mushroom well-battered. Everything is vegan and allium-free!

Heartbreakingly Chillax cafe

Like it that is in the heartland. The owner has spent time on the theme and decor of this cafe. Relatively ez to find (we drove)

Pros: Generous selection of vegan ice cream., Good waffles, Reasonable prices.

Cool vegan dessert cafe

The ice cream are all vegan, made with either oat, soy or coconut milk. Drinks are decent and cafe has a cozy feel. Special flavours are rotated - the Thai Young Coconut flavour is exceptionally good!
