Small market, but good options - Edit
We stopped here for a few grocery items. The selections was great, and we found most of what we needed in addition to some special local items. The store is a bit small, but well stocked with Violife cheese, plant milk, and other goodies. We didn’t try the food at the little cafe, but it looked great!

Now has a great beyond burger - Edit
When this store first opened the Kitchen food was okay but not great. We still shopped the market section regularly though. A few weeks ago we tried the kitchen again and ordered the beyond burger with cheese. Very tasty!!!! They obviously changed the recipe and it is now an outstanding burger that we highly recommend! We actually went back the following week and ordered another one! We will be trying the kitchen more often to see if they have upgraded the rest of the menu, but the beyond burger with cheese and fries is awesome!!

Great Vegan Food - Edit
Super central in Lihue town if need to walk. All the options from kitchen are vegan and really taste. Their pizza crust is my favorite whole wheat crust. The options for grab n go are not all vegan, must read labels. So happy living here to have this place as a vegan go to! Great food friendly staff, lanai to enjoy your food. The groceries and fresh produce are at reasonable prices compared to other health food places (for Hawaii). Their hours are also great. There is always a trade off when living in paradise, but this place does satisfy a vegan with more choices than anywhere on island plus to cook does fresh to order so it may take a bit longer than say your typical fast food joint. It’s well worth it, they do take orders over phone. Still great even in 2023. As they grow into their potential adding more and more food choices farm fresh produce and packaged goods vegan and vegetarian. Try not to be in a rush all things good are worth waiting for. Aloha

The hot bar is where it's at! We had the chimichurri bowl and poke bowl. Both were good. A few days ago we bought their Mac nut cheese and enjoyed it with crackers. Smoothies are also very good.

I'm not sure if the entire market is vegan, but at least most of it is vegan. The hot food menu is all vegan and there is also a juice bar in addition to grocery items and some take away food such as wraps and sandwiches. So happy to find this place! We were staying near Poipu and it seemed kind of far to drive (about 10 miles) but it's an easy drive and very beautiful! Totally worth the drive. Prices are reasonable and hot food is good.
Read moreIt's also only about 3 miles beyond the Humane Society so do like we did and borrow a doggie for the day, and then get an early dinner at HealthGo before returning the pup at 5pm. Outdoor seating to eat and sit with your doggie.

So excited to find this place- wish we would have come on our first day! All vegan market with a vegan hot bar and grab and go cooler for quick bites for the beach! Some of the lowest prices on the island (ex. Wildwood aioli is $6 something here compared to $9-ish in Kilauea or $10-ish in Hanalei). Great place to stock up. Also had Kombucha on tap 👍🏼

Came here for quick breakfast on our way to the airport and wished we’d explored it sooner! Breakfast burritos in a heater to grab and go, lots of pre made sandwiches with mock meat, sushi rolls, grocery items, and could order other hot food items such as pizzas and burgers, and smoothies! I had a really yummy breakfast burrito and smoothie, highly recommend! Lovely friendly staff too

Several vegan to-go options in the fridge that are perfect for beach trips and hiking. Also a surplus of groceries and snacks for sale. Also had an all-vegan hot bar and smoothie bar. My personal favourites: vegan BLT wrap, macadamia nut cheese for spreading on avocado toast, and the morning date smoothie.

First week on kauai and already been here twice. I love their teri burger sandwich - delicious taro burger with fresh sprouts and veggies, vegenaise on sprouted bread. They also have pantry items (ie earth balance cheese squares and several vegan chips) and frozen items (daiya cheese cake).

It’s very difficult to find Vegan options on the island. This little store has a ton of vegan products, and was located very close to where we were staying at the Marriott. They have a great selection of common vegan brands, as well as vegan sandwiches, burritos and smoothies they make in-house. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Health Go Market is a small store, but it has a good selection of vegan and non-vegan items. I had the curry chickpea wrap with small bits of figs and the taro sandwich. The former was very good and tasteful. The latter lacked flavor - eating a cold taro burger is not as good as eating a warm one fresh off the grill. Moreover, the sprouts and cucumbers on the sandwich (and Vegainase dressing) added to the wholesomeness, but no avocado?

The prices are high, but the quality of the food is superb. The one person working behind the counter was extremely pleasant - there was no doubt that she enjoyed her job.

Love this place! I'm staying at the very nearby Marriott and there aren't a ton of vegan options on site or in the mall across the street, so Health Go saved me! Their grab and go items are fantastic!! I've had the tofu sushi roll, tempeh wrap and purple potato salad - all great. Brian who works at the counter is very nice too!
