The best vegan fish and chips in town! - Edit
I'll start by saying fish used to be my favourite meat prior to going vegan, and is the one I miss the most. So to find a lovely vegan fish and chips in Worcester is amazing! I had the "Phish and Chips" which consisted of a lovely battered, flaky jackfruit and nori - which pleasently suprised me as jackfruit can be hit or miss in my experience, flavour-wise at least. It was soft and texturely comparable to fish, with a lovely salty and lemon depth.

I think Happy Plaice is run by the No Frickin Chicken guys (who are carrying the vegan food scene in Worcester on their backs right now) so I expected greatness, and was not disappointed. As with everything of late, the price is on the high-end of what you'd want to pay for a meal, but I understand the reasoning for this and its just where we are right now economically. So no docked points for that.
If you're a vegan living in Worcester, add this one to your rotation of treat meals! It's truly excellent.

Just had my first delivery from these lovely people and I’m in vegan heaven!
Read moreI had the battered sausage, chips and gravy. It gave me a lovely feeling of nostalgia and long lost joy as it’s been so long since I enjoyed food like this!
