really nice surprise! - Edit
I was impressed by the quality of food here and especially the vegan options. After being spoiled by living in the vegan paradise of Bali, I wasn't expecting much in Flores. But the menu is clearly marked and the staff know what vegan is. We tried the Geisha bowls, a tempeh sandwich with pesto and a vegan breakfast spread with spinach, hummus, mushrooms and tomatoes. It was all tasty and filling. It seems to be the best option in town for vegans and popular with everyone. It does get quite busy and service can be slow but they are so friendly and it doesn't really matter....who's really in a hurry on Flores?

Good vegan options - Edit
We ate here for breakfast and the food was good.
Read moreThere were sadly no avocados (and a lot of the vegan options depend on them) but they subbed the avo for 3 big fat tempe strips (winning).
We ordered the Boss Breakfast - all nicely cooked and good bread too.
We also ordered a strawberry chia porridge bowl, cooked with coconut milk. This was sweet (not overly so) but could have had some extra chia / toppings... just our preference tho. It was tasty and filling too (generous portion).
Coffee was nice, tea was fresh.
The rest of the menu looked great and vegan and veggie friends who ate here for dinner gave good reports.
Pros: good vegan options, staff were flexible and happy to sub ingredients , cool cafe vibe
Cons: serves meat, fish, eggs, milk etc

Definitely a place where you can take your time. Very friendly staff and both vegetarian and vegan options. Again not fully vegetarian/vegan it’s a sushi place too.

blown away! - Edit
I have to say going in to the restaurant I had no expectations and was ready for a decent meal but I have to say, I was amazed at how good the food was. It also had quite a few vegan/vegetarian options. I went with the vegan wrap and Buddha roll, which I have to say was the best meal I’ve had while being in Indonesia. The staff was super friendly and spoke good English. I’m planning on going back tomorrow! I highly recommend this place to any vegan/vegetarian or anyone!
