options for everybody - Edit

Decent meals with meat and vegan options.
Go there to make a diverse group of people happy.

Good food but not very cosy - Edit

It‘s a bit as if you should be thankful for being there - we weren‘t greeted when we came in (and greeted the bratender), when we got the menu there was no word spoken, when we ordernd and asked one thing about a dich we didn‘t get a helpful answer and the Restaurant is not always open, even tough the homepage says it is.

The food was good though and not too expensive. I had the chickpea -Terrine which was very nicely seasoned! My vegetarian friends were really excited about their dish with grapes.

Pros: Good food

Cons: Few vegan options, Staff isn‘t very caring or chatty , Doesn‘t stick to the opening hours

Küche schließt beliebig - Edit

Leider kann man sich an die Öffnungszeiten nicht verlassen. Waren zweimal erfolglos dort, weil die Küche früher geschlossen hatte, als die Webseite ankündigte. Bedienung machte einen unfreundlichen Eindruck. Nie wieder.
Kitchen closes whenever they feel like it. Went there twice without getting anything to eat. Never again.

surprise find! - Edit

I found Hanz und Franz accidentally while wandering around in the neighborhood. I did not expect to find a vegan friendly restaurant in the area!! :-)

They serve a few dedicated vegan items including a vegan desert (along with traditional German meat food for your non-veg friends). I did not particularly like the vegan desert (an orange/vanilla custard type dessert) - but I was still thrilled to be able to eat desert in a restaurant!

When my partner and I both ordered vegan dishes, the waitress asked us if we were vegan so that she could bring us a special vegan bread appetizer (delicious garlic bread!).

Prices were good, house wine was good, I will definitely go back!! (If they start offering more vegan main courses and more vegan desserts, I might stop cooking all together :-)
