AMAZING ALL ROUND! - Edit
I must start by saying service is amazing. Super friendly and welcoming. We came with our bigger dogs, no problem. Food was great. We got 3 starters, 3 mains, 1 side, 2 milkshakes, 3 desserts, 3 beers 3 sodas. All perfect. The hotdogs were so good and so was the kebab.

Got a takeaway from here. And had a drink while I waited for it. Next level food. Highly recommended. I’m coming back every time I’m in Ipswich. Got BBQ wings, Shawarma and Caesar Salad. All packed with great flavour. Also really nice people that work there. I’m told they are moving locations- so will keep an eye out for that!

The food really was outstanding - dirty food cooked to perfection without the grease! BUT not just dirty food, there's some good ol' pub grub on the menu also. An extensive impressive menu, one that I'd love to be able to work through - something for everyone.
Everything we ordered was fantastic, great portion sizes, and we couldn't fault any of it, just like the service. We felt very welcome and would love to visit this cosy pub again. The owner is so friendly.
We really liked the book corner, you can take up to 3 books home, what a brilliant idea.
Highly recommend!

I was in the area for work and it was great to find a fully vegan place. I had the gochujan tempeh bao buns, the ‘chicken’ shawarma salad and the sticky toffee pudding. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced.

This is such a fab little place! The food here is fab - we had the chickn and waffles and one of their burgers with tater tots! Absolutely delicious! Don't miss out on the milkshakes - they were insane!!

I don't think there's anything else in Ipswich that can match Hanks in terms of offering vegan options. I mean it's all vegan, you just can't get any better than that! The menu is absolutely stacked too, I don't think I'll ever get to try everything (but I'll have a go). I used the takeout service to pick my food up via the embargo app and it worked perfectly. I'd strongly recommend trying their wraps, hot dogs, and macaroni and cheese if you aren't sure what to go for. It's all a little pricey, but you're getting some incredible food!

We've waited a long time for decent vegan options in the area and now we've finally got our own space. Definitely recommend their other locations in Colchester and Felixstowe too. Show em some love!

Big shout to Elora who provided us with amazing service! So warming, friendly and kind! Not to forget the chef who done an amazing job!
Hopefully this menu is done more often but equally the take out is unreal too! Look forward to going back soon 😁

We were in Ipswich for a wedding and when we arrived at the Airbnb we were exhausted and hungry from our 3.5hr drive, so we ordered food. Hank's it was!
Read moreI had the Korean burger and it was delicious, my husband had the chickn supreme and garlic and thyme fries. He also ordered a chocolate cake but I went to bed before he started eating it (he did say it was great though).
The menu is huge and very varied, so I'm pretty sure there are a lot of gems on there.

Plenty of choice, including salads, burgers, hot dogs, loaded fries, wraps and kebabs. We ordered a Carolina BBQ wrap meal and Korean ‘beef’ loaded fries, and both hit the spot. This is the second time I’ve been for lunch and both times it’s been very quiet, which means service is pretty quick.

We had three types of Sunday roasts. Every ingredient on the plate tasted really good and genuine. The seitan and mocked chicken were amazing. The desserts were also quite good.

Really big menu full of comfort favourites ranging from burgers to kebabs to wings to loaded fries and more! I had the chicken wings and waffles whilst my partner had the mixed meat kebab, and we shared a macbig fries. Good portion sizes and the food was all bang on taste-wise. Lots of places to sit inside too if desired.
