I visit this place a couple of times a week to buy coffee, a nice latte or some treats.
Read moreI've had almost all of the burgers and sandwiches on their weekly lunch menu. I went for breakfast once and it was absolutely incredible. There is really nothing on this menu that is not worth considering.
The Sunday Brunch is a must. If you're a vegan that lives in Ottawa or happened to be stopping by the Ottawa-Kanata area for a couple of days, check this place out. Well worth the money considering the quality of the food is outstanding.

Food and service were exceptional. The paninis and soups are particularly good. Not huge portions but enough to fill you up for lunch.

A cute little place to have some amazing vegan food - Edit
I originally heard about this place from a non vegetarian/vegan friend. She told me that she heard great things and that I should check it out. I ended up going with my friend (also non vegetarian/vegan) for lunch. We were both Very impressed with the food. We plan on going back with a bunch on other friends and family members! :)

Went out for lunch with a couple friends and we all got paninis, I got Mel's Fav which was amazing and my two non vegan friends got the classic and really liked theirs as well !

It is with much awaited fanfare that Grow Your Roots has opened their charming new cafe! They have an extensive menu of appetizers, sandwiches/paninis/burger, fries, soup, mains, desserts, specials, and a full coffee and tea bar along with other drinks. Oh- and a full on vegan Sunday brunch menu, which includes tofu scramble, tofu eggs benny, home fries, and other yummies!!! Takeout is available if you're not able to stay and sit down. Their signature dish is the beer battered deep fried avocados with dip- to die for!!
Read moreNot only is the food worth the half hour drive every weekend from my house, but the service is great and the portions filling. The space is cute and bright, with ample parking nearby. Five stars!
