Awkward restaurant seating. Really slow service. The food was okay, pretty basic flavors (I can basically do it myself for 3/4 less of the price) the food AND beverages are overly priced. Dont get me wrong, I love supporting local 100% vegan places. But this one didnt wow me for the amount I payed.

My husband and I eat here frequently and we recently brought our 10 month baby girl for her first meal. We love everything about this place. They didn’t have a kids menu but we’re very accommodating with our requests for her. They also have baby chairs! Oh and the desserts are AMAZING. Must try the Nanaimo bars!!!!

Upon entering the restaurant the atmosphere was very alive and positive. I got the special for brunch, the Mexican breakfast wrap filled with tofu scramble, salsa, rice, and avocado. The flavours in the wrap were absolutely spot on. Now the coffee. My god, the coffee. So delicious and aromatic. When our server was prepping my coffee about 15 feet from me I could smell the fresh drip brew and it was intoxication. The meal was very reasonably priced and we will definitely be going back as soon as we get the chance.

The best desserts, cookies, doughnuts you can take away! Good food options for sitting in or take away, my favourite is the GYR burger. Small place in a kind of random spot, a little bit of seating. Nice coffee too. Staff is always super friendly.

Read moreOur lunch was a delight and was even approved by my 1.5 year old niece - we all know that is the toughest crowd to impress. The deep fried avo was a hit as well as the mushroom soup and panini. The TLT was a fresh twist and the lemon lavender cookies a delight. The staff was also very welcoming and attentive to their guests.
I hope to make it back again before leaving Ottawa.

A very positive and friendly place, not complicated menu but top quality ingredients and delicious. It is very easy going, accessible and so friendly. A big selection of specialty drinks and coffees, and tempting baked goods counter. Our all time favourites are the panini section of the dinner menu - the focaccia they use is addictive.

I do enjoy eating meals at this place but the baking is extra awesome especially the cinnamon buns and Nanaimo bars. I also ordered catering when I had a leaving party last week and the woman working gave us some recommendations on what to get and suggested we cut our order in half and she was right! The potato salad and tofu egg salad sandwiches were definitely hits at the party! I would highly, highly recommend it.

This is a great place, especially for a weekend brunch. For those of us missing eggs benny, well they have mastered it. Potatoes are also awesome, as are most sandwiches. Haven’t tried the pub type fare yet. Brought omni’s too, who were hit & miss. Friendly staff and good prices. Off the beaten track and a bit challenging to find the first time. Recommend reservations on the weekend.

Discovered this place when it was mentioned in a blog. I finally managed to finally try it out, and I have no regrets. All of the food is delicious, and all vegan. It gets quite busy, so be ready to wait a few for a table.
Read moreThe location is not optimal, and there is not a lot of parking, but it could be worse.
The doughnuts and baked goods here are phenomenal, and definitely a good treat. If you're in the area, you need to try this place at least once.

Our server, Stephanie, was full of enthusiasm and welcoming charm. My omni-husband said,"it beets the sh@t out of any "meet" sandwich!" He had the big ol' clubhouse, and I enjoyed the eggs benny. The desserts and lattes were also tops. This was definitely worth the Sunday drive.

I went for lunch with a non-veg friend, and it's now our go-to place for getting together. Her huge portion of enhanced fries were the best fries she's ever had and she loved the garlic mayo dip. I had the tempeh bacon and avocado sandwich, and it was really good. The date square and coffee with soy milk were a nice way to end the meal, and my friend had the nanaimo bar. "It's like a real one - you'd never think it was vegan!" she enthused. I took a slice of peanut butter chocolate cake home for my beloved, and it was greatly appreciated.

My husband and I live nearby so we come here all the time. We love the breakfast sandwiches. The Club sandwich, which is only available for Sunday brunch, is our absolute fave and we've got all of our friends hooked. Our other go to is the veggie pot pie, which we bring home frozen and put it in the oven when we don't feel like cooking dinner. Highly recommend making the trip to Kanata.
