Serves meat, vegan options available. A unique place in semi rural Colombia has vegan and vegetarian choices. The menu is fully translated in English and has a specific vegetarian section. The long list of burgers can all be substituted with a made-in-house black bean patty (vegans please inquire). Also has a large salad that comes with black beans, corn and guacamole. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-11:00pm.

Great comfort food. I was really pleased that most burgers could be subbed to be made vegetarian. There are also vegan options and the menu is very clear as to this. It's a little pricier than most places in San Gil, but the portion size is pretty reasonable.

I was a little dubious after reading the reviews, but my meal was amazing. Guacamole and chips was perfect, with super thin corn chips. The chipotle mushroom tacos were perfect. Not a big meal but delicious. Make sure to specify vegan.

Familiar with vegetarian, but not with vegan. - Edit
I asked if the only salad with no meat or cheese specified was vegan. It was then brought without any kind of dressing. Really not exciting. With a remarkable vegetarian section in the menu I was optimistic they would be able to provide a decent vegan meal, but I was proven wrong.

The only vegan option (meal) is the cheeseburger with the black bean patty made vegan. You need to tell them you’re vegan so that they’ll make it with a different type of bread, no cheese, no mayo. It was good! There is also guac and chips and salads that you can veganise. The piña colada is vegan too and sooooo good!!!

Large choice of vegetarian options, delicious fat & tender black bean burgers, fries were doing the job along that tender burger I had. My missus got a fat burrito too with tasty guacamole aside. Will come back for sure.

The only real vegan meal (apart from salad and chips) on the menu is the guacamole. Since there are not many options in San Gil I still gave it a go, even locals recommended the restaurant when I asked for a veggie place. It is a heaven for vegetarians. The home made tortilla bread contains milk and eggs.

Tortillas not vegan - Edit
Went for a late dinner and tried to order mushroom tacos and a burrito. Mentioned we were vegan and server informed us that their house made tortillas contained milk and eggs. I got a salad instead, which was a good size but was very disappointed by lack of vegan options, even though this place has a whole vegetarian menu.

Server didn’t know the difference between vegan and vegetarian. I didn’t find her helpful. Only option was a lentil burger served on sandwich bread which was over toasted and hard. The French fries seemed like just massed produced pre frozen and cooked. For a place that has a section on the menu “Gringo Fries” I expected actual real potato fries.

The two vegan options were a burger or salad with most likely more variety in salads. We had chips and guac as and it was the best ive ever had. I order the mushroom burger. The burger has to be adjusted to vegan, however is pretty well adjusted. I will say the food did not have a healthy feel and felt heavy, but its what you expect from fried foods and bugers.

I had twice the Mexican salad, good amount for an average person. Very tasty, a tiny bit spicy. The lime/mint frappé is to die for, as well as the iced coffee.

I found it a bit pricy for the fact that, for example the Mexican Salad comes with beans, but the amount of beans was so small that I had to order another dish afterwards. Also the options for vegans are rare. There is the Mexican Salad, the Burrito and probably a burger. All of them have to be veganized. Which means, when you order a burger there is not much more left than the bread, which probably isn't vegan anyways, and the bean patty. The second time I ate there, I had a burrito. But besides the fact, that it looks huge, it is mainly iceberg salad. So I wasn't full neither. But I decided to have something back in the hostel, because I was tired of ordering so much. I told them that I was not full, by the way, but they only asked me if I want to order something else. Staff is actually friendly and knows which ingredients have to be left away for veganizing it. Atmosphere is nice, with good music.

Beautiful setting and good atmosphere. Menu is in english, but the two waiters who served us didn't speak English. The menu had a vegetarin section, plus all burgers can be vege. However, no indication of vegan options so after much hand gestures it turns out only a couple of salads are vegan (once cheese removed).
