Simple Daily Menu - Edit
Simple daily comfort food served by kind staff. Note they stop serving 45 minutes ahead of close time. They graciously got us a meal. Spicing is mild served in tray style which seems popular in Coimbra.

Great vegan restaurant - Edit
It's a "buffet" kind of restaurant. Their started is always a vegan soup. The main can be chosen between 3 dishes, they are always fully vegan. The desserts are vegan and vegetarian but they always say which are what. The food is tasty but sometimes a bit cold. The venue is also quite cold and not cosy but it's worth going here for the nice healthy food.

Cons: cold indoors, sometimes the food is cold

Vários pratos disponíveis quase todos veganos. Podiam estar um pouco mais quentinhos nesta altura do ano, incluindo a sopa.

Great - Edit
I have gone here a couple of times, the most recent was last thursday. Always good food and friendly staff. Usually there are 3 different dishes to choose from, that change from day to day. Most or all of them are vegan.

Worth the walk - Edit
We had a lovely lunch here. We both had the mushroom and seitan stroganoff, and thought it was really delicious. It came with rice, salad, pickled red cabbage, soup and fresh pressed juice. Everything was so fresh and flavourful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The desserts looked amazing but we were too full. The ambiance is cozy, light and the outdoor patio was really pleasant and shady.

One of the best choices in Coimbra - Edit
This is a great vegetarian restaurant. The food is great, there are always vegan options available (including dessert), the staff is nice and there is a nice terrace. One of the best veg in Coimbra, I ate there regularly while studying in the Faculty of Economics. Unfortunately, dinner is not served.

good lunch menus - Edit
This is a good option for a quick lunch. THey have menus (soup, bread, dish and drink - optional dessert). They have always a vegan option, sometimes two, and a vegetarian option. The desserts are usually vegan and/or raw. It has a small patio and a nice space inside. It has parking on its street and is easily accessible by public transportation. Nevertheless, the restaurant itself is not very convenient for wheelchairs.

They don't have a lot of options but some are vegan and the menu is cheap, 8€ for two of that options, soup, bread and a natural and without any added sugar juice but I think it's cheaper for take away.

Small but cute place (up the hill... 😅) with a small but excellent choice of vegetarian /vegan food. The service is excellent and the little garden at the back a pleasant plus!

Yummy and abundant self-service - Edit
For 7.50€ they have a menu with a soup, a main course, bread and dessert. Not many options to choose but really tasty and quite abundant. Fresh juices also. Outside seating in a back patio that makes it a really nice place to have a good conversation or reading time while enjoying food.

Nice self-service restaurant - Edit
This is a nice and welcoming self-service restaurant in Coimbra. There are some tables outside in a terrace, and the room is modern and cheerful.
Read moreThere were two dishes available and one of them was vegan. The vegan dish was soy Chanfana - an adaptation of a typical Portuguese dish. However, normally I don't enjoy these kind of adaptations too much because they are so similar to the original both in taste and looks that I can become a bit queasy.
We had two fruit juices but unfortunately they were too watered down.
The staff was quite friendly and helpful.
Pros: Inexpensive, Friendly and helpful staff, Modern and cheerful room and terrace
Cons: Very few dish options, Watered down juices
