Great Slow Food experience - Edit
We had a very delicious lunch at Café Raízes! This place is more than a simple cafe - the atmosphere, the people is great and in a same time ascetic and polite; food is tasty and rich in flavors! If you want to enjoy slow food made using organic and plant-based ingredients, I definitely recomend to visit this place and treat yourself with qualitative meal!

Newish vegan café offering soup, quiche, and omelette that vary depending on the season and what produce they can source locally. The staff were super friendly, explaining all the ingredients and even making a hot chocolate that wasn't on the menu. This was made with their homemade gluten-free, vegan milk and Peruvian chocolate - it was absolutely delicious. It also came with some samples of their delicious cakes - the cinnamon apple cake was the clear winner!

Read moreThe atmosphere is incredibly calming, with a real yogi feel, and the staff are friendly and attentive. They took the time to explain what was in each dish and were clearly knowledgeable about the gluten-free options.
I had the vegan bowl, which was beautiful. The flavours were unique and well balanced, and I felt genuinely nourished afterwards. The gluten-free, sugar-free carrot cake was also delicious, with a lovely subtle spicy kick.
