I was so excited to find a shop selling vegan food on my trip along the Silk Road. While the shop is small and the items expensive, I would definitely shop there on a regular basis if I lived in Almaty. The lovely sales assistant was friendly and helpful.

Plenty of vegan, gluten free products. I got out of there with gluten free bread, vegan spread, some bars and some food to cook. Seller was very helpful and patient enough to communicate via translator.

Came here before we had a train ride to Uzbekistan and filled up on some goods. They have a very extensive selection; yoghurts, fake meats and cheeses and lot of snacks and drinks. Also got vegan protein powder here. Greate for some shopping.

The little store is located in Floor -1 of the small mall. I went there to get some food for a longer train journey and as it's hard to identify vegan products because of the language in the market I went there.
Read moreThey offer kind of special, rather expensive things, like high quality products. I got some vegan chocolate bars and vegan cheese. Staff was friendly but did not speak English. But was no problem.
Next to it there is a big SPAR supermarket where your can get nuts, vegan sushi, vegetables and potatoes from the fresh food counter, bread and many other things to complement your diet for longer train rides.
