Can I Have Your Recipes? - Edit
I've eaten here a few times and I'm wowed every single time. The mac and cheese with shitake "bacon" is so great! I really need the recipe for this. The coconut burger is yummy and filling. The buffalo tempeh is good but spicey, beware. I love being able to go to a restaurant and order anything I want without having to ask questions or substitute anything.

BEYOND AMAZING - Edit
The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The food was delightful and tasty. I have enjoyed the taco salad and coconut burger. They are to LIVE for. The atmosphere is beautiful and there is a beautiful patio to eat and snap photos for social media or for your own viewing. Lovely place, lovely food, and lovely people.

Just OK - Edit
Very limited weekend menu. It should be the other way around since it is so busy on the weekends. Pricey and portions are skimpy. Come on, there are no expensive ingredients here!
Read moreStaff is nice and the place is clean. Hopefully, we can find another, better option when in the area.

Love This Place! - Edit
We always get great meals here. The portabella steak sandwich was really good, the Buddha Bowl is excellent and the Chicken Salad is terrific. I'm not crazy about the desserts and the ice cream that they just added to their menu was not creamy. The French fries were also nothing special.

Everyone is complaining about the price... but this is FORT LAUDERDALE. Everything is expensive. Haha. Went here multiple times while in Fort Lauderdale and I everything I had was delicious. Great staff, patio was lovely. Nothing to complain about.

cute and tasty - Edit
Will definitely add this to my artesanal of vegan places to eat at! I went with my mom (a non vegan) and we both enjoyed our meal. My mom had to resend her BLT back because it was rather burnt but they fixed and even included another side salad. Can't wait to back again to try the fish-less tacos next!
Read moreUpdate: Upon going here again I'm changing my review from 4 to 3 stars. My mom and I both agree that the price doesn't seem to be worth the portion size or some of the food itself (ex: $4.50 for a side of plain fries). They also changed their menu greatly. :/ Not bad but not spectacular or one of the best I've been to either. We plan on giving it one more try though, eventually.

I had a hummus wrap and my partner had the dynamite bowl. Both were very good. Good portion size. We ate outside on the outdoor terrace. In January! In shorts!

Kombucha on tap and coconut burger is good - Edit
Great outdoor seating, Kombucha on tap ($7+) for a glass. Recommend coconut burger, if you can deal with the fried patty. GF options listed, Friendly staff. Great place to take meat eaters, and better staff/atmosphere than Fresh First which is close by, didn't try the hummus. We make that at home eh!

This is the first all-vegan restaurant I've ever been to, and I'm sooo happy I went! I had a roasted bowl (roasted vegs with rice and quinoa), bf had the seattle burger, mom had a coconut burger and dad had the loaded fries. All of it was delicious!!!!! I would recommend this place to anyone. Much love from Maryland!! ❤

Relaxing and delicious - Edit
Stopped by here to grab a bite and kill some time after our plane ride to Fort Lauderdale. Was pleasantly surprised at how scrumptious the food was and loved the outdoor patio to sit, eat and relax. We got the BLT, veggie burger and AB&J sandiwich. Can't wait to go back and try the tacos!

1 out of 3 was good - Edit
Heard about this for awhile so I was excited to try it. My roasted veggie wrap was delicious but the hummus plate wasn't good and terribly overpriced for the 3 carrot sticks and 3 celery sticks. The pieces of seed crackers just fell apart and the hummus itself was bland. My fiancé's smokehouse burger was terrible. The "burger was the texture of wet bread and just wasn't good. I'm sad because I keep trying to find a place we both like but he has yet to go to a vegan restaurant where he liked the food.

great brunch - Edit
Green Bar opened up an hour early for our Vegan Vacation at Sea group so we could eat brunch before boarding our cruise ship. The décor and atmosphere are nice as are the staff. Three of us shared all our dishes. We got the pancakes, biscuits & gravy and tofu rancheros. All were excellent! We enjoyed coffee and juice too. Definitely a great place for brunch.

I wish this place was in Michigan! - Edit
We went here for lunch and the burgers here are AMAZING! The best burgers we've ever had, hands down. I had the Seattle Burger and hubby had the Rustic. He said, "Baby we gotta figure out how to make these!" He's incredibly picky about burgers and that's the best compliment he gives! A little pricey but SO worth it. We're going back for dinner!

The "Cheese" Cake is Better than Sex - Edit
I eat at GBK at least once a week and I feel so fortunate to go to work walking distance from this restaurant. (My other herbivore pals out there know how hard it is to find vegan friendly places in south Florida.) I love that I can bring my non-vegan friends or coworkers here and they will also enjoy the food. The atmosphere is great, and my favorite item on the menu is the coconut burger. Although I have also had a "cheese" cake that was better than sex.

mixed review - Edit
This place has changed a lot since I first started coming here. It started out as very healthy and light. The food tasted fresh and with quality ingredients. Since then, the menu has changed several times. No problem there. However, this last time I went, the quality of the food had gone way down. Over priced, deep-fried, frozen food. I was disappointed. I used to really like going to eat here. I'm not sure I'll be back.

COCONUT BURGER IS ADDICTING - Edit
They had an amazing coconut burger that my mom and I went twice in the same week for. It was crusted perfectly and tasted how Florida feels; light and tropical. Their baked goods were awesome (especially the whoopie pies) and they had free flavored water that was hydrating and delicious. The atmosphere was very nice and I could have stayed there for hours if I didn't have to check into my hotel. This is a MUST DO!

Good food - service inconsistent - Edit
I've been to GBK and will be back because the food is good. But one thing I notice is a lack of consistency from one visit to the next.
Read moreThis time, I met with 2 other friends. All 3 of us placed orders separately, but at the same time. Two orders came out. Our 3rd friend waited and waited, asked a server about her order (who never got back to her). She finally went in and asked and it had never been put through! At that point they asked her if she wanted to cancel her order, but she was hungry - she came to eat lunch. They should have offered her food for free, or at least a free dessert or coupon for a future visit. That is not the way to do business. My friend had to sit and watch us eat, and then finally just took the food to go. It was their error and they should have attempted to compensate her.
I still think the food is good, but they are going to lose customers with that kind of service (or lack thereof).

I had the rustic burger witch is a sweet potato burger, the texture wasn't great but the taste was! My husband had the Buffalo tempeh and he loved it. The juices are very good. It's a nice place, the staff is friendly and the terrace is cute!
