Pleasant but could be healthier - Edit
This place has a lovely outdoor seating area, friendly staff, and a good variety of options. I found the salad I had to be a bit heavy and the ice cream to be too sweet for me but I would definitely go back again.

Lots of choices - Edit
Hubby had Greek salad - huge and delicious and Mac & cheeze - could have been creamier. I had the buffalo tempe sandwich - really tasty and sweet potato fries- kind of greasy. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The service was efficient.

Pass on this one - Edit
We tried to have lunch here. We both ordered the coconut burger, one sweet potato fries, one mac and cheese and a lemonade. The burger was bland and mostly giant buns, which I removed. I had them leave off the spicy mayonnaise. I ate the small patty with the mango salsa, tomato, and lettuce by themselves. I tasted the spicy mac and cheese and sweet potato fries, but did not like either. The mac and cheese was tasteless and the cayenne made it spicy. The fries were greasy. I tasted the lemonade and the flavor was odd. I ended up with a mouthful of black sand. When I had the gal refund the drink, she explained that they make their own simple syrup and the black grains were remnants of this process. My husband ate his burger, the mac and cheese and the fries, and later felt ill. He said it felt like he had a rock sitting in his stomach. Makes me question whether all of the ingredients are indeed vegan, as the only time either of us has gotten sick after eating has been when we were given non-vegan items unaware. So not a good experience. Also, extremely expensive for the portions. The items listed above totalled $41.46.

I was very happy to find this place while here. Great price! Great food! 😋😋😋 - Edit
Here on vacation for the next two days I was very happy to find this place on holy cow. The selections were great the prices were awesome as well. I was very pleased with my food. My con is strictly based off that I’m not a sweets or cheese person. The chicken salad was out of this world!!!!

Used to be the best vegan food in south Florida... - Edit
I wrote the review below over a year ago, and I’m not sure what happened here between then and now, but the restaurant has changed and not for the better. They’ve eliminated half their menu and replaced many of their best dishes with mass-market products such as the Beyond and Impossible patties. Don’t get me wrong, I love Beyond and Impossible products, but I can get the same burger and fries for half the price at Burger King now. And every time I’ve gone in the last six months, they’ve been sold out of half their already depleted menu. It’s such a disappointment, especially considering they used to be THE BEST vegan restaurant in south Florida.
Read moreI love this place. It’s menu is extensive, especially considering most places in the area have no vegan options. And the food is ah-mazing. Even my omnivorous family members love the coconut burger, the mac and cheeze is fantastic, and the new B.A.D. burger is to die for. It also constantly updates the menu, introducing new dishes, like burgers, bowls, and even soft serve and gelato, but keeping classic favorites. It is a bit pricey for a fast-casual restaurant, but I always go out of my way to eat here as often as I can.
Pros: Outdoor seating, Dog friendly patio
Cons: Pricey/expensive , Not a lot of options, Processed foods

Absolutely amazing. Possibly the best vegan food I've ever had. The coconut burger, sweet potato fries, and brussel sprouts were out of the world.

Today I had the roasted grain bowl and a brownie for dessert. It was all delicious and filling. I added tofu to the bowl.

Great comfort & burgers - Edit
Burgers, Mac&Cheese, Glass noodles, delicious ice creams and all vegan. Found this place on HappyCow (my favorite app) and I’m glad I did. The patio was a great surprise. Staff is really nice, food tastes really good and my apple pie ice cream was delicious.

Very disappointing - Edit
I ordered food to be delivered and there was no utensils. I called and talked to Stephanie who told me that happens sometimes. Really??? I was shocked. I ordered the taco salad and there was no mention of cabbage but the salad is littered with cabbage. I’m allergic to cabbage. It was disgusting. I also ordered the avocado toast. The bread is dry and not toasted. The avocado is in chunks and. It spread on the bread. It is kore like avocado bread, not toast. Gross.

Great spot! - Edit
Had a "chicken" salad sandwich and a side of Mac and cheese along with a few frosty beverages, and I finished off with a bowl of chocolate ice cream. Everything I tried was fresh and delicious. I always appreciate vegan cheeses that are unprocessed. Theirs was mainly a spiced blend of carrots and cauliflower as far as I understand, delightful.

Taco Tuesday at Green Bar & Kitchen is where its at! - Edit
Stopped by Green Bar today to water the new butterfly garden and realized they had a great taco special for Tuesday... Two tacos, chips, salsa, and a lemonade for ten bucks! ...so I decided to try them out.

Loved it!! - Edit
Excellent eating experience. I ate here about a year ago and was not impressed, but always give places a second chance. I was re-introduced to the restaurant again from a friend, who mentioned that the restaurant was under new ownership. From the moment I walked in the door and being greeted by the employees, ordered my lunch and seated, the order the process was very quick and served in under 9 minutes. Meal was served hot and excellent taste. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Ok, but super slow - Edit
Waited for close to 30 min to get my food to the sound of loud rock music. I love incubus but this was a bit much for a restaurant setting. Nice employees and decor though. Impossible burger was ok but I’ve had better.

Okay, not the best - Edit
We didn’t love our meals, but really wanted to. I will give it another try in the future, maybe we just didn’t order the right thing. I had the tomato poke tacos and my husband had some sort seed burger. We also shared an order of Mac and cheese, it was mushy. Overall the meal was disappointing. The forbidden rice with the tacos was very good. The beer selection was also good and service was very friendly. Nice patio for outdoor dining.

Green Bar & Kitchen caught me off guard with the interior of the store and the creative delicious vegan food they offered. Didn’t expect this from looking on the outside. I tried many side items and the tempeh buffalo sandwich which I really enjoyed. More people need to hear about GB&K

Great food and lovely courtyard - Edit
We enjoyed a delicious meal sitting in the restaurant’s courtyard. We had persuaded the non-vegan in-laws to join us and, although initially skeptical, they thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Everything was delicious and there were loads of options. Just a short drive from the airport, we’ll be sure to visit the next time we fly into Fort Lauderdale.
