Good food - Edit
I had a hummus wrap and my partner had the dynamite bowl. Both were very good. Good portion size. We ate outside on the outdoor terrace. In January! In shorts!
Pros: patio, food, service
Cons: smoking

Kombucha on tap and coconut burger is good - Edit
Great outdoor seating, Kombucha on tap ($7+) for a glass. Recommend coconut burger, if you can deal with the fried patty. GF options listed, Friendly staff. Great place to take meat eaters, and better staff/atmosphere than Fresh First which is close by, didn't try the hummus. We make that at home eh!
Pros: Kombucha on tap, fast service, happy staff
Cons: expensive on 17th

😍😍😍 - Edit
This is the first all-vegan restaurant I've ever been to, and I'm sooo happy I went! I had a roasted bowl (roasted vegs with rice and quinoa), bf had the seattle burger, mom had a coconut burger and dad had the loaded fries. All of it was delicious!!!!! I would recommend this place to anyone. Much love from Maryland!! ❤
Pros: lots of vegan options, VEGAN DESSERTS
Cons: pricey

Relaxing and delicious - Edit
Stopped by here to grab a bite and kill some time after our plane ride to Fort Lauderdale. Was pleasantly surprised at how scrumptious the food was and loved the outdoor patio to sit, eat and relax. We got the BLT, veggie burger and AB&J sandiwich. Can't wait to go back and try the tacos!
Pros: Great outdoor seating

cute and tasty - Edit
Will definitely add this to my artesanal of vegan places to eat at! I went with my mom (a non vegan) and we both enjoyed our meal. My mom had to resend her BLT back because it was rather burnt but they fixed and even included another side salad. Can't wait to back again to try the fish-less tacos next!

1 out of 3 was good - Edit
Heard about this for awhile so I was excited to try it. My roasted veggie wrap was delicious but the hummus plate wasn't good and terribly overpriced for the 3 carrot sticks and 3 celery sticks. The pieces of seed crackers just fell apart and the hummus itself was bland. My fiancé's smokehouse burger was terrible. The "burger was the texture of wet bread and just wasn't good. I'm sad because I keep trying to find a place we both like but he has yet to go to a vegan restaurant where he liked the food.
Pros: roasted veggie wrap
Cons: burger , hummus plate

I read your review and wanted to ask you... have you tried Fresh First? They are not 100% vegan but have a lot of vegan options and are also on SE 17th Street....

great brunch - Edit
Green Bar opened up an hour early for our Vegan Vacation at Sea group so we could eat brunch before boarding our cruise ship. The décor and atmosphere are nice as are the staff. Three of us shared all our dishes. We got the pancakes, biscuits & gravy and tofu rancheros. All were excellent! We enjoyed coffee and juice too. Definitely a great place for brunch.
Pros: nice staff, great brunch

I wish this place was in Michigan! - Edit
We went here for lunch and the burgers here are AMAZING! The best burgers we've ever had, hands down. I had the Seattle Burger and hubby had the Rustic. He said, "Baby we gotta figure out how to make these!" He's incredibly picky about burgers and that's the best compliment he gives! A little pricey but SO worth it. We're going back for dinner!

Galt Ocean Location - Edit
Feedback, if you want it. Ate at the Galt Ocean location 9/3. Coconut burger was delicious, sauce good, white bun tasted like Wonder Bread, poor. Also side of coleslaw with burger way way too small. Living Lasagna, good idea but poor execution, sauce way too thick, vegan "cheese" too thick and not very tasty, hardly any of the too thin zuchinni, and not layered like it should be. Grilled artie choke, from a can, hardly enough to get a taste, angel hair fried sweet potato strings greasy and insubtantial. Key lime pie filling way to dense and not very limey or sweet, date-nut crust good but not thick enough. Use a lot of plastic, why not washable table wear?

Pros: Tasty coconut burger, Nice staff, Good pie crust
Cons: Poor bun, Poor Lasagna, Thick not good tasting pie filling

My husband and I went to Green Bar for dinner with no expectations.. What a delightful surprise. The food was fabulous but better than that were the employees.. They were super friendly. We will definitely be back.

The "Cheese" Cake is Better than Sex - Edit
I eat at GBK at least once a week and I feel so fortunate to go to work walking distance from this restaurant. (My other herbivore pals out there know how hard it is to find vegan friendly places in south Florida.) I love that I can bring my non-vegan friends or coworkers here and they will also enjoy the food. The atmosphere is great, and my favorite item on the menu is the coconut burger. Although I have also had a "cheese" cake that was better than sex.

mixed review - Edit
This place has changed a lot since I first started coming here. It started out as very healthy and light. The food tasted fresh and with quality ingredients. Since then, the menu has changed several times. No problem there. However, this last time I went, the quality of the food had gone way down. Over priced, deep-fried, frozen food. I was disappointed. I used to really like going to eat here. I'm not sure I'll be back.
Pros: lots of options, nice atmosphere
Cons: expensive for what it is, greasy

Wow, Wow, WOW! - Edit
Homebrewed kombucha? That alone is reason to come. But meal after meal everything comes out clean and tasty. So glad to have found this absolutely perfect vegan spot when in town at a convention. Sweet staff, too. Outside dining area very zen. Overall, 10 stars!
Pros: homemade kombucha, outdoor seating ambience, friendly staff
Cons: closes too early (9 pm)
