Barely Anything Vegan

We asked about the vegetarian fajitas without cheese and confirmed the beans were vegan. We asked the waiter to confirm everything was vegan before placing the order and he stated he would check and let us know. He came back and stated that the flour tortillas were not vegan so we agreed to corn tortillas. When a server came with the food she had the beans and rice sides and then told us the rice had chicken broth. This was listed as vegetarian so completely unexpected. We stated we did not want the rice. We were still charged full price for the meal and were not given an opportunity to substitute (we would have asked for hash browns or extra veggies). Also, the price for a soda was $4 which would be okay accept it was a mini bottle with no refill. We would not recommend this place for other vegans.

Wish I could eat here every day!

The potato tacos with jalapeños were really good, but my pecan oat latte with oatmeal made a perfect brunch.

Pros: Fresh vegan dishes., Local business with great service., Manager thanked each table.

Cons: Parking a challenge, not well marked for excess, More vegan options please., This is 6 hours from my house. 🙃

Pretty good

We had the southwest black bean and corn salsa with chips that was a nice starter. Then we each had a bonita flats salad, hold the cheese, dressing on the side. It was very fresh and well executed with green leaf lettuce, baby spinach, zucchini and carrot noodles, and tomato slices. We got some oatmilk lattes to go, and they were delicious. The ice cream sandwich shop next door has vegan cookie and ice cream options, but we were too full to try it out (next time).

Not for people avoiding gluten

I ordered a portobello mushroom burger with a gluten free bun. The burger was not well thought out, it didn't stay together well and was difficult to eat. I suspect that the bun was not gluten free. I asked before taking a bite if they had given me a gf bun (it didn't look like the gf buns I'm used to eating) and the server said they had. After leaving the restaurant I started having symptoms/allergic reaction.

Pros: Their tea is good.

Cons: Waited about 20-25 minutes to get drink orders., Felt sick after eating a mushroom burger

What you’d expect, very basic

Looks like they’ve had a vegan menu planned for some time. It was challenging to order here. Kids hot chocolate came out with whipped cream, sent back 😐. Basic salad, basic taco with fried potatoes and bean, didnt want to risk trying any refried beans. Even after being blantly clear about our dietary restrictions, my basic oatmeal came with whipped butter, at least it was on the side. This town needs better choices.
