Wholesome food - Edit
Wholesome, homemade food and soothing beverages. I had a combo of “céréales” (quinoa and bolognese sauce) and vegetable tart, which could stand more herbs/spices. I loved the fluffy chocolate mousse for dessert. Since I was in town for only a few hours and wanted to try more, I took away a portion of the excellent kiwi-apple crumble, (somehow lost the good-looking cookie,) a croissant, a package of kale crisps and a package of shortbread cookies. All good. It was a very busy place by 12:30 pm on a Thursday.

Excellent resto 100 % végan à Annecy - Edit
J’y ai mangé plusieurs fois et tout était toujours délicieux. Les plats sont faits maison, très savoureux et vraiment rassasiants, avec plusieurs options au menu, ce qui permet de varier facilement.

Une adresse que je recommande sans hésitation, autant pour les véganes que pour les personnes curieuses de découvrir une très bonne cuisine végétale.

wir sind hier gelandet, nachdem es eine der wenigen veganen Angebote der Stadt war. Leider hat das Essen nicht geschmeckt und war noch dazu kalt. Wie es hier zu den guten Bewertungen kommen konnte, ist uns ein Rätsel. Sehr Schade, da die Speisen gut geklungen haben, leider absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

The food was very healthy and perfect for adults but there were no kids options and therefore didn’t suit the youngest member of our family very well! The grownups really enjoyed it. There were lots of raw options and a good soup of the day and their menu is changing every day!

Weekend in Annecy - Edit
We arrived into Annecy early evening and looked for a vegetarian restaurant. We discovered Granny Smiths was only about 200 metres from the car park and decided to try it. The place was very busy but we managed a spot on the tables outside. Despite the busy trade and advice that we may have to wait a little longer than usual, we didn't actually have too long to wait. Having opted for the vegan burger, these were, without doubt, the best veggie burger I have ever tasted. The two ladies working there were attentive and friendly. Would definitely go back

Nice quiet spot with outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Luckily for us, they had a menu in English! Menu changes often. One of us had a bowl-type of dish and loved it. Others had the frittata, soup, and quinoa salad. These were just okay. Only fully vegan place in Annecy. I would recommend.

Une petite soupe, qqs crudités et une petite part de tarte pour 17,50, c'est trop cher. En plus il n'y a pas de pain dans ce restaurant donc j'avais encore faim. Cette réserve mise à part, c'est chouette qu'il y ait au moins un resto végane à Annecy et il est bien placé !

Really tasty plates made up of smaller ‘elements’ (options), with local organic ingredients and menu on regular rotation. Delicious cakes and desserts too (including tira-brownie, *what* a combination!) Add in the very friendly, enthusiastic service plus welcoming ambiance and the place is pretty perfect!

Nous avons bien mangé dans ce joli petit snack/resto 100% vegan et qui privilégie les produits de saison.

Mention spéciale pour la tarte au citron et son topping vanille, très très bon !
Juste une chose : c'est un peu cher je trouve (on a payé 60€ pour 4 - 3 assiettes avec crudités et part de tarte ou riz 1 simple part de tarte 4 thés glacés 1 part de tarte citron).
Sinon vraiment bonne adresse pour trouver du vegan et bon !

We visited Granny Smith on Tuesday evening and had the two course formule. I had the soup of the day and a rice and sausage meal. The soup was nice, but the sausage meal was very unimaginative. Based on the reviews here I expected much more.
