TLDR: this is not a vegan product and contains milk derivatives.
Read moreAfter seeing their very traditional looking menu, I went in and said "i heard you have some non-dairy options" and she said all their ice cream is non dairy. It did not sit right.... but after seeing the reviews here on happy cow, I decided to trust it.
After eating it, I was like I NEED to know before I buy again. I reached out to the owner and she confirmed that the product they use is "lactose free" and called "Frostline."
This product is made with dairy derived ingredients.
Pros: None
Cons: NO DAIRY FREE ICE CREAM!!!

Asked the girl at the window if the freezes had dairy and she said no, I assumed it would be a slushie situation but was surprised when I first tried and it tasted like a full on milkshake. Went back to her to confirm but sure enough it is a coconut milk base. Really unassuming place, seems you can ask for vegan shakes and the soft serve itself - just confirm with them.

I have confirmed it DOES contain dairy products ! They use a product called Frostline which is lactose free but made of dairy components.
