Eye pleasing - Edit

I liked the deco of this restaurant a lot. It is somewhat oldfashioned and traditional, but at the same time elegant and not too old.

The menu is rather small with some vegetarian plates that can be made vegan. I liked a lot hummus, and croquettes with homemade veganaise. The main was OK but not so special. I also liked the wide selection of vegan desserts.

Nice staff.

Pros: vegan deserts, decoration and location, nice staff

Cons: please more vegan options

Lovely - Edit

Great environment and decoration.
Has quite a few vegan options, including a couple desserts.
Some items a bit expensive when compared to others (could be fixed in quantity). Still, everything was delicious.

Pros: Great environment

Modern classic - Edit

Graça 77 is set at a very typical Portuguese environment, in a wonderful square, typical furniture, typical live music, typical dishes, very good Portuguese wine and some Portuguese classics made vegetarian or vegan.

The vegan choice is rather limited, in particular for dessert - most vegetarian dishes could actually be made vegan as well, so please do :D Then more people will be able to try it!

A lot of fried stuff, but that's just how Portuguese cuisine works so go ahead and indulge yourself.

nice place, small portions - Edit

The setting at the restaurant was very nice, and as far as I can tell all the dishes were vegan and tasty. However, the portions were very small and quite pricy.

Great meal - Edit

I'm writing this review because I'm really shocked by the other two reviews on here. Either things have changed or lot or I'm not sure what people are talking about.

Everything was tapas style so there were no mains and starters. They brought the food as it was ready but that's normal for a tapas restaurant. The portions were small...but that's because it was tapas! There was no fish on the menu when we were there (which maybe is a new thing given the mention of codfish by another reviewer). We ordered vegan and there were loads of options (in fact I don't even remember seeing non-vegan options on there).

As for the service - in Europe it's pretty normal to have things take a while and the waiters to not give too much of a toss so it doesn't bother me too much.

By far the best vegan food I had in Portugal. I nearly didn't go because of the reviews on here and then a friend of mine who lived in Lisbon told me to try it. So glad I did!

Pros: Really interesting dishes, Local craft beers, Nice communal eating vibes

Cons: You might not get a table, No outside seating

Not vegetarian - Edit

This is not a vegetarian restaurant. It has an appetizer with codfish. The food is good, with vegan options, but the portions are really small (including the drinks). The service and the decor are nice, but I won't return.

Pros: Decor, Service

Cons: Small doses, Not vegetarian

really bad - Edit

we tried to make a reservation by phone but it was refused twice because they were "in a hurry". we went there and the owner is crazy and egocentric. he can't stop talking about himself and how bad he thinks the country and the all the people is. the service was bad (main dishes arrived first than the starters). the food was tasty but everything else was really a bad experience

Cons: expensive. worst service ever
