#2 their creations are all made out of this veggie or that nut… not just fake vegan stuff here.
#3 DELICIOUS!!! We had the morning croissant - the egg and salami were delicious! But the winner on this plate was their goodness salad.

As a Jerusalemite vegan, I'll often hop on the train just to have a meal here - one of my favorite restaurants in the whole country. The seating is limited, but cozy, the service is very friendly, and the menu is fantastically diverse! Whether I'm in the mood for fast food (burgers), a traditional dish (chraime), or something super creative (cauliflower crepe), Goodness has it all. Highly recommend!

Didn't come here for a long time because they totally changed everything. But I brought my non-veg friend for her birthday last week. She loved her burger. I got the schnitzel and it was awesome. The fries were really good. Portions are generous too. July 2020
Read moreMy daughter was all excited to try the "diner food" here. Well, I wouldn't really call it diner food, but it sure was good. I had a delicious crepe (32nis) with cashew creme and veggies. Dtr and husband shared fish and chips and a "sloppy Joe." They really enjoyed both. They offered the feedback that the tofu fish could be fishier, and our lovely waitress said they are still tweaking the flavors. The fat chips were hot and crispy! The sloppy Joe was black beans and other stuff on a great long roll, they really liked it. I think those dishes were in the 40nis range. (This review is actually like 4 years ago)

I got breakfast - 2 fried vegan eggs (looks like eggs and the taste is quite close to what I remember haha), side salad, fresh bread with dips, pastries (croissant was mediocre but cinnamon but was tasty) and a drink of your choice.
Definitely will visit again!
Update: now they have a bigger restaurant, so it’s more comfortable and cozy.
Beyond burger with cheese and vegan egg is just A M A Z I N G. The flavor, the texture — W O W.
Shawarma with jackfruit is also very very tasty and it’s very close to chicken shawarma.
Sloppy joe — didn’t like much, it’s tasty, but made with beans, and I’d prefer it more “meaty”.
Seitan Schnitzel — in my opinion doesn’t taste like schnitzel but it’s very tasty anyway.
Mushroom nuggets — unexpectedly delicious, rich flavor of portobello mushroom and wild mushrooms — wow wow wow! Wanna come back and get a beer with these nuggets, should be just perfect 👌🏽
Also don’t miss happy hours — drinks 1 1, Sun-Thu, 16:00-19:00.

Friendly service, all vegan diner with some typical hamburgers etc as well as some more imaginative dishes. Also a dessert menu with at least half a dozen items. No English name (Goodness) on the door or window, so make note of the street number when looking for it.

My advice to anyone wishing to try this restaurant is: leave your guilt behind and forget about calories, fat or anything else that might prevent you from enjoying the feast that is available here. We've been to Goodness several times, and have thoroughly enjoyed everything on the menu. My daughter has even brought her non-vegan friends here and they loved it as well. The hamburgers are succulent and tasty, without being overly reminiscent of meat (no 'bleeding' burgers for me, thanks). The cheese on the cheeseburger is exactly the right level of gooey, but it doesn't have the artificial aftertaste of most commercial vegan cheeses.. The shwarma is to die for and the onion rings are guaranteed to make you feel like you are sixteen again. And that's just the beginning. It isn't fine dining, but it's fantastic food, with generous portions at a good price.

This was a highlight to my trip to Tel Aviv! Everything was delicious and the servers were so awesome and accommodating! I was blown away by the sunny-side up egg! I'm a vegan foodie and have never had anything like it! Way to go! I'm salivating just thinking about the food there. We had 6 people and all shared several items and everything was delicious. It's in a super central area so we walked there after shopping on Allenby. Check it out!
