Amazing - Edit
The food was so good! Plus, everybody in the restaurant was so nice. There’s limited sitting outside, but it’s absolutely marvelous.

Would give it 5 stars if it were fully vegan 🌱 - Edit
A mostly vegan
Read moreVery hygienic looking open plan kitchen where the chefs & servers all happily muck in together.
People watching on the street is great fun and it’s a great place to meet people due to the large tables that people share.
The Goldig Wi-Fi is good and I often catch up on my work whilst sitting there eating & drinking vegan.
Staff need to keep their conversations down as customers can hear EVERY word.
The future is vegan 🌱

Can’t believe I haven’t been here before - Edit
In a typical cute pedestrian street a bit removed from all the other terraces you’ll find this nice little place. A few tables inside and outside and delicious all vegan items on the menu. We tried the quiche and a bagel, and of course some cheese cake after, it was so good! Delicious kombucha too, home made. Free water for customers and friendly staff.

Nice small Café with big bagels - Edit
I took the salmon bagel it was tasty, but the carrot salmon was bit too salty. On the bagel itself quite much carrot salmon was added so that the taste was little too salty and oily. Nevertheless the place was a good choose to enjoy vegan breakfast :)

Goldig's selection of awesome baked-from-scratch bread and bagels paired with fresh, colourful and delicious toppings are a winning combination - Edit
Goldig's selection of awesome baked-from-scratch bread and bagels are topped with a colourful and delicious array of tasty offerings. The ingredients are bursting with freshness and the homemade pesto topped with perfectly ripe sun-dried tomatoes was a particular favourite for us.
Read moreThese guys also have great gluten-free & sugar-free options available. The drinks list was pretty extensive with great hot drinks alongside their fresh squeezed juices and homemade kombucha. Some epic homemade cake choices were the perfect way to finish things off!
The venue is a super inviting spot on the corner of one of the charming cobbled pedestrian streets which make up the old town. Well worth a visit when you're next visiting Lagos.

We just had some lemon cheese cake, an iced chai latte & a fresh juice. I didn’t enjoy my chai latte that much but other than that, it’s a lovely little place run by very friendly staff😄

Just in time. - Edit
We were there just before closing time on our day trip to Lagos and luckily we were still catered for. We had toast and bagel, both of which were delicious. The shop is nice and the team is very friendly. Thank you!

Good for breakfast - Edit
Little place with vegan dishes.
Read moreI had a vegan pancake and a vegan salmon bagel. Unfortunately, the pancake was too burnt for me. The bagel was delicious, especially because the bread is home-baked.
The staff were very friendly and you can sit outside and relax, even though it's in the middle of the pedestrian zone.
Some things were crossed out on the menu. I found this confusing (is this only temporary or always the case?) and a shame as I would have liked to try some of those items.

I had a very tasty avocado toast and a fresh and healthy beetroot juice. The toast maybe looks a little bit boring but it really was a flavour bomb.

Best breakfast in Lagos - Edit
October 2023: goldig is now 100% vegan, and the menu offers bagels, toasts, pancakes, and yoghurt with granola, besides coffe, juices and more.
Read moreGoldig Cafe offers a wide range of different breakfasts, including banana bread, cakes, two types of muesli, a full continental vegetarian breakfast, an amazing vegan option with homemade bread (that bread is super!!!) hummus olives fruit, bread and jam... It's easy to veganize the vegetarian options (for example, agave syrup rather than honey). And they have good music inside, and it's nice to sit outside in the morning, the Cafe is in a cool pedestrian area.
I had breakfast there every day I spent in Lagos and will certainly go back if I go again there!

More expensive than other cafes we visited, but really good coffee and fresh food. We shared a pesto toast and portion of pancakes between two and we were absolutely stuffed, so it was worth the 22€ (incl coffee)

Good but really expensive - Edit
The staff is very friendly and the food tastes fresh, but in my opinion all in all it is too expensive. We paid 9 euros for a bagel or a sandwich and 5 euros for a small glass of orange juice. I still appreciate the quality of the food and that it is handmade so it is still be worth visiting.
