Love to have options in Castle Rock - Edit
When I went they were out of the Japchae noodles and matcha mix but the bibimbap and chai latte were a good replacement.
Read moreIt’s strange that you have to ask for soy sauce at an “Asian” restaurant; it’s all ketchup, maple syrup, and hot sauce on the table. I get the vibe they’re mainly geared for their breakfast menu, which isn’t as veg friendly... all pancakes, eggs and bacon. That being said the Korean menu feels tacked on, but still tastes great.
I’ve worked in castle rock for five years and it’s very hard to get vegan food without going to a 100+store chain, so this was a refreshing visit.
I love that I can order any of the meal items vegan by asking for the mushrooms (except for egg on bibimbap) and it’s cool they have vegan milk options.
Great views of mountains out the windows and nice nooks to curl into.
Also offer GF cookies and muffins, not vegan though
Pros: Vegetarian dishes clearly marked with “V”, Large water glasses, Vegan options in CASTLE ROCK
Cons: Vegan drink alterations need to be asked about, The Korean menu seems like an afterthought, Decor says stuff like “bacon is kitchen duct tape”
