Dangerously Good

Had I actually deigned to venture here on my first day in Singapore, as planned, rather than the last day as I did, I would have been in a world world of trouble. That is because the range of items on here is so great, I could easily have blown the entire holiday budget (and more) on many repeat visits. As it was, I only managed to pick up a carrot cake and apple crumble tart which were both phenomenally good. When I come back to Singapore, I am making a beeline straight back here.

Vegan Cakes & Desserts

I was in China town craving a piece of cake when I realise I was standing in front of this shop. I wanted to try all the cakes on display 🤣 I had the dragonfruit cake & omg it was delicious! My partner had the Matcha cheesecake (not vegan) & it was also divine! Their Chai tea is brewed & tastes so good! Highly recommend this little cafe.

Pros: Variety of vegan cakes, Friendly owners, Well priced

best apple crumble

i visit this bakery almost every week for a slice of their apple crumble (: their vegan desserts are really good! cake slices go for $5 apiece. a reasonable price for the quality ☺️ they sell whole cakes as well, usually loaf-shaped. definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

Savoury food available too!

Ordered the Shashuka which was veganised and mint tea that came with 3 pieces of vegan cookies. The Shashuka came with a loaf of bread (yes an entire loaf) so it probably would be too much for a small eater.

The owner was really meticulous about dietary requirements, asking whether I took alliums or ginger before preparing.

Pizzas could be veganised as well with a homemade tofu cheese. There's also a fried rice that's not on the menu which could be ordered.

Pros: Very meticulous with dietary requirements , Lots of vegan options

Vegan cake

Has several vegan cake options. Unfortunately the banana bread is not sold in smaller pieces but just as a hole bread/cake.

Pros: Several vegan cake options, Friendly

Cons: Not cheap (it's Singapore)

Very Friendly

Found this place while walking to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum (which is quite close by).

As there were vegan desserts in the window, I decided to step in. There were vegan fruit cakes (banana cake, mandarin orange cake, peach cake, etc.) and apple pie. I ended up with a full loaf of the banana cake/bread, which cost S$12. The staff (?) explained that they used various types of local bananas, and that their cakes are low sugar (but all natural sweeteners). It was very tasty.

The man was extremely friendly with lots of good information. They also had non-vegan cakes with flavors like chocolate and tiramisu as well as pandan coconut. (All desserts, vegan and non-vegan, are low sugar, according to the staff there. And possibly all without eggs?)

They accept both SGD and USD.

Pros: A number of vegan options, Friendly and knowledgeable staff, Health-conscious
