VEGAN

We had a great experience at Gintilla, we booked in advance and got a table right away. The restaurant was full when we left after our early dinner. For Olbia the prices are reasonable, the food is great but the DESSERTS are even better. Oh my gosh - I had the lava cake with ice cream and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was really nice and the restaurant is beautiful. The only veg place around this area. GO THERE!!!

Pros: Great food, Amazing desserts , More vegan than vegetarian dishes

Cons: Desserts and starters are the same prices as main

Closed outside summer period

We visited the island in September and I contacted this restaurant but they were closed out of season, so worth checking if travelling far....

Gem of a place ...

Visited Gintilla this evening - what an amazing place. We ordered different meals from the very special menu (predominately vegan) and shared - the food was awesome. The flavours, quantity and presentation was faultless and we left feeling impressed, happy, chilled and full! A little on the pricey side for desserts but absolutely worth every cent/Euro!! The staff were super friendly too and made sure our little Westie had fresh water that was topped up during the time we were there. Hats off to the chef(s) 👏

Pros: Great variety of choice, Friendly staff, The most options for dessert that we’ve ever seen

Loved this place - fantastic food

We visited Gintilla twice during our vacation - it would have been more but initially the restaurant was closed - I think it may only open for the summer months and we were there for the first day of opening in June. There was real thought and care put into both the vegan and vegetarian dishes, and although slightly more expensive than the typical pizza restaurants it was worth it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A must for veggies visiting the area!

Pros: High quality food, tasty and we'll presented.

Cons: None

Magical vegan food

We ordered a table in advance and were glad we did, because the restaurant was filled during the whole evening. The menu showed (except very few vegetarian options) all vegan and/or raw/glutenfree dishes. It was very hard to decide what to order, because every dish sounded tasty! In the end we decided having Sushi/ThaiRolls/Quinoa salad for starter, 1st course ravioli, special penne , seitandish and fennel w. bechamel as side dish. Dessert we all had the chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream and a coffee. 2 of us shared a bottle of a tasty bio wine and 2 bottles water. Totally we (4 people) have had payed around €220 for drink&food. Prices are higher but fair for that region and especially to mention that all food is freshly made. We waited for every course about 1/2-1h, but it‘s absolutely worth it - you will get very fresh and selfmade food!!! Our carnivore friends even liked the food very much and said that they have had the best „penne“ in whole Sardinia!! Nice ambiente! We definitaly would come back! They have some Happy Hour during afternoon (€10?!).

Pros: almost a 100% vegan menu, fresh food, nice ambiente

Cons: expensive, long waiting time, reservation recommended
