Tried the vegan shake with vanilla and chocolate ice cream, and a cone with a scoop of peanut butter and vanilla ice cream. Omg so delicious. I LOVE a shake, and this one did not disappoint. Well worth a visit. Queues can be long sometimes (we went in the evening) so go for a mooch around shops and come back as they do go down quickly.

Came here for the ice-creams, on the menu they had some, now in reality it was only chocolate and rest where sorbets. Service was also very very bad, if she had a choice and could close the shop instead, she would have done it I believe

They have so many ice-cream flavors in addition to the usual sorbet. It was totally worth to queue for the yogurt, dark chocolate and peanut butter ones. I love it that some of the cones are vegan too.

Finding real Italian gelato in Lagos isn’t easy. Gelicia pulls it off.

Plenty of vegan flavors but my fav definitely was the "banella" (banana with cinnamon).

Although, make sure to ask for the vegan options are they're not all clearly labeled (the balella was not labeled but vegan though!).
The "intense" dark chocolate is a must!
All their cones are vegan.
They also offer vegan smoothies but haven't tried it.

A must-visit in Lagos for vegan ice cream lovers! Gelateria Gelicia offers around seven or eight vegan flavors — I went for Peanut butter and Fondente (dark chocolate), and wow, what a combo! Creamy and rich in flavour. They even have vegan cones which is always a big plus. Everything tasted amazing!

Lots of well signed vegan options! They have your classic dark choc/sorbets but also a handful of creamy vegan/low sugar flavours like vanilla, peanut butter and yoghurt. The dark choc was rich and decadent, the low sugar vanilla was decent considering it is low sugar, and the dairy free yoghurt flavour was a treat- it was nice and tart and yogurty, definitely worth trying for something different ☺️

If you like Greek yogurt, do yourself a favour and get the low sugar vegan yogurt ice cream - it’s unreal. They also had flavours in addition to the normal ones (I.e., sorbets and dark choc) like peanut butter and hazelnut.

Only had the sorbets and chocolate flavour available when I went, no peanut butter or yogurt or anything…Chose the melon sorbet and it was too chunky for my liking. Very natural tasting though! Also, the cones were marked as vegan on the menu on the wall so I didn’t realize I had to ask specifically for a vegan cone - my fault in the end!

I had a vegan cone with dark chocolate ice cream. It’s was really yummy! The fruit flavours (strawberry, mango and lemon) were also vegan, as well as a a vegan version of hazelnut, peanut butter, vanilla and a couple of others that’s I’ve forgotten! I would definitely go back to try more of these flavours, as the dark chocolate was so delicious and it was nice to find a vegan cone.

We found this to be the best place in Lagos for vegan ice cream options. I had the vegan chocolate scoop and the vegan hazelnut scoop and it was so delicious. The options for vegans were excellent, with several sorbets and vegan ice creams to choose from. Definitely recommend if in the area!

They had 6 vegan gelatos and around 4 sorbets. I had the chocolate and the vanilla gelato. It was amazing. The vanilla was especially delicious, reminded me of French vanilla ice cream I used to have pre-veganism. Definitely go here.

Read moreUsually, vegan ice cream tastes like oat, but this just tasted like « regular » ice cream. They had these flavors for vegan: peanut butter (AMAZING), vanilla (AMAZING), hazelnut (AMAZING), coco (did not taste), chocolate (did not taste). They also had sorbets which I did not try.

They had 2/3 sorbets (including watermelon or passion fruit) and around 5/6 vegan ice creams including coconut, hazelnut, vanilla, peanut butter or chocolate. Would have liked to see more fruity flavours in the ice cream e.g raspberry/ strawberry/ mango etc, but still pretty good choice! Was a bit wary when I saw that the vegan ice creams were sugar free as I didn’t know if they would be tasty but they really were!
