Wirklich frische Zutaten und persönliches, wenig kommerzielles Ambiente - Edit
Sehr empfehlenswert. So frisch schmecken Gerichte selten! Das Personal war auch angenehm. Und die Deko ist persönlich. Eine ruhiger Ort. Hier zählt eindeutig Qualität, nicht Quantität. Und natürlich ist das Restaurant 100 % vegan. Ich hatte das Mittagsangebot (Montags: Curry, 11€).

In a city with dozens of fully vegan vietnamese and pan-asian restaurants, Gayaya stands out! The menu is very small. Food is fresh and fragrant. The Pad Thai I ordered absolutely didn't taste like Pad Thai at all, but it was delicious nonetheless. The dessert was small but fantastic and my friends curry also looked amazing. And the interior of the restaurant is lovely too. I'm surprised the prices arent higher here. I'd love to come back!

Flavourful and Wholesome, Warm and Generous Staff - Edit
Vegan Asian eatery, woman-owned and minority-owned. Instead of serving traditional Vietnamese food, the lady boss / head chef drew inspiration from Vietnam and surrounding areas, with a focus on fusion whole-food plant-based dishes. Loved how flavourful and wholesome the food was! The Ga Ya Ya Curry came with red wholegrain rice drenched in rich coconut and peanut curry, topped with homemade sliced ‘meat’ made from gluten-free oats flakes. The Mekong Noodles consisted of springy mung bean noodles naturally coloured with herbs and spices (e.g., yellow turmeric and red beetroot), piled high with fresh seasonal vegetables alongside chilli and lime dressing. The Burmese-style Lentil Soup was thick and tasty too. Staff members were so warm and kind and generous, serving a surprise salad and moist vegan banana bread, and even giving my mum a stalk of rose. Easily one of my favourite memories in Berlin! Thank you Mama Chang and Herr Hau. Located near Oranienburger Tor.

This was a wonderful day-off-lunch which could count as a spa experience. When you enter the Ga ya ya you instantly feel welcome. It’s not just delicious and freshly made Asian food, you can also feel the owner’s passion for making it a relaxing experience. A tasty homemade drink without sugar? Of course. A dish without a specific ingredient? For sure. An extra portion of your favourite herb? No problem. The strong focus on making you a happy food-lover, leaving with a smile, is as exceptional as the friendly and polite stuff and the lovely extras. The latter include tasty fruit as a free dessert and free wifi.

Interessante Gerichte, Zusammenstellung eintönig - Edit
Die Nudelgerichte waren unkonventionell, was ja erst mal interessant ist, und sehr schön angerichtet. Leider war es geschmacklich und auch von den Zutaten her etwas eintönig: das Pad Thai schmeckte recht fad und die Mekong-Nudeln hatten fast nur Aubergine dabei. Die Limo war auch nicht besonders aufregend, das Mango-Lassi wiederum sehr lecker.

First night in Berlin and what a great start! Beautiful menu full of fresh and seasonal ingredients. Pad Thai with glass noodles was one of the best I've ever had, lentil and coconut soup had me making inappropriate noises and the sushi was twice the size I expected it to be! Lovely ambiance, nice staff but (understandably) busy. Only takes cash.

Das Essen schmeckt gut. Besonders gut hat das vegane Hack aus Hafer gefallen. Leider ist die Auswahl an Gerichten sehr klein und der Service unaufmerksam. Nachdem unsere Bestellung aufgenommen wurde, kam nie wieder jemand vorbei, um bspw. nach einem weiteren Getränk oder einer Nachspeise zu fragen.

De gerechten waren zo smaakvol en gezond. De wijn (ik had Chardoney) was overigens ook erg lekker. De sushi ook verrassend en heerlijk. Er was keus uit 2 toetjes, de één was wat straffer (koffie met o.a. wodka, mjam!) en de ander was mango e.a. met kokoscrème of zo, ik dacht dat ik in de smaakhemel was beland! De medewerkers daar ook erg vriendelijk. Een geweldige veganervaing!

This place is incredible. We ate some of the best food I have ever tasted here. Some of our group went for the set menu (sushi, mango salad, pad thai) which was fantastic value, and wasn't just the same flavours you would expect from your average again restaurant. Every plate was so pretty with delicate delicious flavours. Very sweet owners too. Can't recommend more highly.

I ate here with two non-veg friends, and we all really loved the food we ate here. I especially loved the Würzige Laksasuppe. The vegan Mango Lassi was also wonderful on a hot night. We ate outside, and enjoyed the not-so-busy street with plenty of people-watching. The staff were friendly, and they were totally fine letting us stay after closing time till it was time to clean our table.

The menu is small, but fully vegan and all ingredients and dishes are selected very carefully. All drinks like juices and lemonade are homemade as well. I was able to experience new tastes and dishes I never had before, and the waiter was such a friendly person. He even gave us free pears before we left and oh my god, those were the juiciest and sweetest pears I ever tasted. The whole place was soooooo cozy and calming, 10/10 would recommend.
