Best Burger in the Metro!! - Edit
I'm lucky to live nearby and get carry out frequently...maybe they know me by name! 🤣 The Beyond burger here is the best I've had. I don't know why exactly - the bun - the vegan garlic aioli - it's all wonderful! They also have Brussels sprouts with vegan Parmesan that can be a meal unto themselves. 🤤

Great Vegan Options - Edit
Went to dinner here with my mother since I saw that they offered vegan options and was close to her home. I ordered the BBQ Jackfruit tacos with a side salad. Cheers to our server Chris for recommending a salad dressing that was vegan (I had originally ordered one that wasn't) which was delicious. The BBQ Jackfruit tacos were great. There were 2 tacos on the plate with a lot of the cabbage slaw that was very tasty. My only negative comment is that the plates (for both my tacos and salad) could have been larger since I had food slide off the plates a couple of times (my mother had the same issue with the food that she received too). My mother, a non-vegan, thought that the BBQ jackfruit tasted just like meat. Nice thing was that the meat wasn't overly soaked in wet sauce. Next time I'm back in the Des Moines will definitely visit here again. They have a great patio area where we sat that was out of the sun and a great place to sit on a nice evening. Nice selection of local beers on tap.
