Vegan options at your local gaming store! - Edit

Hello, I am a local at this gaming store/cafe and wanted to point that out in this review for bias purposes. I would give a 5-star review to help promote their business but alas, per Happy Cow guidelines I cannot give above 4-stars for establishments that are not strictly vegan. All this being said, the vegan portion of Game Vault's menu was instituted very early in the cafe's inception and the owners are some of the most wonderful people I have had the pleasure of meeting.

I am not vegan myself, however, while dating an individual that does practice veganism, it has opened my eyes to what restaurants/businesses have vegan options. I am very happy when any establishment considers the vegan community and Game Vault is one of those establishments. While they do not have a fully vegan menu, they do have a variety of vegan options available which include:

Sandwiches - veggie sandwich with vegan cheese and mayo available on in-house baked bread

Pizzas - a large variety of sauces, veggies, and vegan meat substitutes to build your own pizza the way you would like. I believe they may only use 1 brand/style of vegan cheese but that might've expanded

Salads - a variety of veggies for salads

I have built my own vegan pizza (pepperoni, mushrooms, and green peppers) and I've tried the vegan taco pizza that they advertise, both of which were delicious! I have not tried the salad yet nor their veggie sandwich, but I have tried their in-house baked bread which is scrumptious. How can anyone turn down fresh bread :p

I have submitted this cafe for multiple purposes, those being to promote this local gaming store that is beloved by all who attend it, and as yet another dining option in what seems to be a growing awareness of the veganism movement and community in El Paso. I appreciate that they take the vegan community into consideration, please check them out if you haven't already!
