Quick cheap Indian food

We came here a few times during our stay in Tanah Rata. Their signs indicate that they serve vegetarian food and staff speak English and were able to accommodate us as vegan (I think they left out the yoghurt based sauces & indicated which dishes could be made vegan) although we made it clear what we couldn’t eat (ghee, yoghurt etc). We had some dosas, idli and some other set dish. They seem to stop these dishes around lunch time to focus on the set lunch meals (banana leaf meal). Food was quick, very cheap, tasty and filling

Tasty spot that can cater for vegans

Had breakfast and lunch here whilst in Tanah Rata. Owners were very friendly and accommodating and understood we wanted food without milk and ghee. Food was tasty and we enjoyed everything we ate.

Pros: Cheap, Vegan options, Friendly owners
