Delicious Asian Cuisine

This has been a favourite spot for birthday celebration meals for a while. They have a separate vegan menu which always scores points with me. There are a good few options, my favourites being Cantonese Sweet and Sour (I love sweet and sour), Teriyaki Don, and the healthy Bento Box. The sauces are all delicious, with a range of veg, and a good sized portion of rice.
Also a little tip, if you can add tofu to your meal, do it. Completely worth the £2.50! It has a satisfyingly chewy texture and soaks up the sauce well.
The main downside is that there are no vegan dessert options, but still worth a visit for the yummy mains.

Pros: Good Portions, Delicious Tofu

Cons: No Vegan Desserts

Good Asian restaurant with separate vegan menu

Offering a separate vegan menu with four mains in addition to a bento box. Unfortunately, there are no vegan desserts, however. We ordered a teriyaki don with added tofu, Cantonese sweet and sour with added tofu, maple chilli tofu and a healthy bento box with vegetable maki sushi, Thai corn cakes, Vietnamese fresh vegetable spring roll and tempura vegetables. Each dish was flavourful and had plenty of vegetables and sauce. A bit pricey, but we were out for a special occasion.
Staff were friendly. The restaurant is a bit dark, but it fits with the vibe.

Make your own Bento!

Fusion has a separate vegan menu (you can view it online) with lots of tasty sounding choices - I wanted it all, but was nursing a hangover so tried to make sensible choices and stay away from anything spicy. I had the make your own Bento box option, where you can pick four of six choices. It also comes with rice. I went for beetroot maki, Cantonese sweet and sour tofu, spring roll (more of a summer roll) and corn cakes. It was really delicious and nice to try a few smaller bits and pieces. The beetroot maki was great, but I think the sweet and sour tofu was my fave, despite usually finding sweet and sour to be a little boring. Can't wait to go back and try some other things on the menu! As far as I can tell, this is the only one of Ramside's restaurants that caters for vegans but if you're staying in the hotel or just visiting for food, it definitely doesn't feel like a consolation prize.
(The restaurant is quite dark, my photos aren't great)
