This is a cool little restaurant in a side street near the blue square. Plenty of vegan options and very friendly staff. The food was a bit hit and miss - the cannelloni was amazing, not sure about the tofu ‘fish’. Yummy dessert though!

We had a portion of very boring canelones, a burger that supposed to be italian style but instead got drowned in mustard and mayo, and some really really dry, chewy, not crispy lentil croquetas. Maybe we picked the wrong day or food but this restaurant is absolutely not worth the money.

We had Canelones and the risotto. They were sooo satisfying! Plus vegan cheesecake and a homemade shot on the house. Excellent service and athmosphere. Definitely recommeded for vegans!

I ate here twice. First time I got sick after a strange tasting burger and second time I felt a little robbed from my money. Anyway still better then eating animal products :)

It’s in a little side street but is not hard to find, the menu was pretty small but the vegan burgers were delicious, they also offered vegan mayo, we also had vegan tiramisu which was amazing, only thing is that they didn’t have vegan cheese even though it was on the menu

Great for desserts but disappointed with the menu - Edit
The place is fully vegetarian and offers lots of vegan options, including the best vegan (and gluten free) tiramisu I have had since I became vegan a decade ago! I was excited to find a vegetarian restaurant but was disappointed with the menu that was way too much centred and built around meat alternatives such as tofu and seitan. I tried one of the few dishes that were not, made of aubergines, tomato sauce and vegan cheese, which was not bad but not great nor consistant either (but left me room for a tiramisu!). My partner said they made the best coffee he had tried on the island (not great in general it seems). Staff was friendly and the terrasse is nice. Very central. We went only once for lunch but came back for coffee and dessert on a few occasions during our stay.

Had lunch here whilst on a regular visit to El Medano. A little confusing as it advertises itself as Gluten free, Vegetarian and Vegan.....but you need to Check what is what first. Bun that comes with burger is not GF.

We came for pizza, because I saw a picture here but they had none. Nevermind that, all food was super good and delicious. We had seitan, veggy burger, melanzani, prawns, tempeh salad and bolognese pasta. All vegan. Taste was amazing and nicely spiced. Vegan crumble and tiramisu were also good and tasteful. Waiter was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Had a very nice meal here. Lots of vegan options. Server was very pleasant and friendly. Ordered a Mojito and it was SO pretty! Vegan tiramisu was great. This restaurant is across from a health food store which I would like to come back and try when it’s open!

We had a hamburger with potatoes and aubergine in tomato sauce with vegan cheese and coffee with vegetable milk.
Read moreHamburger: the combination was good but the bun could be more crispy and veg meat was far from the original. The potatoes were delicious. :)
Aubergine: It taste really good but the vegan cheese was like a cream not like a chesse but I recommended. I was also satisfied with the coffee but nothing special.
Service was without problems and the place was in the cozy nice street :) Thank you...

Great to have vegan restaurant on vacation - Edit
It was our big surprise how many vegan options are available in El Médano, including a fully vegetarian/vegan restaurant. The food is high quality and fresh, but not of our choices made us satified tastewise. Pumpkin carpaccio was a bit blant, so was vegan tiramisu. Parmigiana is worth recommending, so the eco red wine for glasses. White house wine could be a little bit better selected.

Cozily furnished restaurant near the beach. Lots of vegan meals on the menu. Main course and dessert were excellent. The waiter was very friendly. We`ll go there again if we come back to Tenerife.

Visited here for lunch and found there to be a pleasant mix of things on the menu to choose from! I opted for the vegan prawns and thought they were beautifully presented! They tasted pretty good too, but they looked a little too convincing for my seafood-phobic self! My husband chose the burger, which was delicious. We also had the potatoes, since they seemed the most likely to go down well with our daughter. Puddings were good too - the tiramisu was tasty, but depending on how you are with the dusty texture of cocoa powder you might not enjoy it as much. The crumble was really lovely, the banana ice cream with it would be amazing as a pudding on its own because it was so lovely. My daughter had the truffles and despite the sweetest tooth ever, she wasn’t able to finish them. They were extremely rich and lovely!

My only complaint is that the menu wasn’t 100% clear on which items were vegetarian and which were vegan. Being a socially anxious mess 90% of the time this was quite off-putting because I don’t really like to go through menus in detail with people in restaurants, especially with my limited Spanish! If you’re of the chatty nature then this shouldn’t be a problem for you, everyone seemed very friendly and accommodating!

Wir waren von den veganen Optionen sehr angetan und es schmeckte dann auch wirklich toll! Eine sehr zentrale Lage und wenn auch nicht direkt am Strand und im Schatten gelegen taugt dieser Ort super um runterzukühlen und kreativ zu schmausen. Waren daher auch öfters da um möglichst viele der veganen Optionen zu probieren! 😋

Medano Town - Edit
Nice Italian restaurant in one of the town walking alley. Service was good, all food had a special touch and was served nicely, definitely recommended if you are in El Medano! It is mostly vegan with few vegetarian options, hard to understand as the quality of their food would not make anyone miss dairy, I hope they will soon move to 100% vegan.
